I’ve only had this unit for a few weeks but so far I’m incredibly impressed. This is my 4th robot vacuum (2 Ecovacs models and 1 Roomba) and the performance here is far and away improved over those others. The mopping feature is solid! I have two dogs so run it daily, and my floors have never been cleaner. It works really, really well. Also, very minimal tangling of dog hair on the rollers. Some yes, of course but super easy to clean/remove. It’s still early days so I’ll update if my opinion changes over time but for now - I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

I dog sit and foster for different rescues and so I'm always looking for something I can use regularly to clean my concrete floors. What I was not prepared for was to watch my roborock devour a live scorpion like it was a mid-afternoon snack and then mop up after itself. Twelve out of ten would recommend

We had this since February and it really makes your life easier. Cleans well and saves you so much time and hassle. My wife and I keep a clean house and were somewhat embarrassed by how much our little Roborock picked up. Sure, it can’t get right into some of the corners, but it more than makes up for that in the sheer reduction of the labor. The first two times we used it, the bin kept filling up several times during the cleaning cycle, but after that, we’ve let it do its rounds every second day and it generally doesn’t need emptying mid-cycle. It’s wonderful that it doesn’t get tired or bored of cleaning! We will never be without one ever again.

I just upgraded to the S8 Pro Ultra from the MaxV7 once it was available on the site. I had seen it at CES and knew immediately I wanted the upgraded dual roller and upgraded vibramop 2.0. So far the mop has been the best upgrade from the previous model. I have 2 kids and 6 dogs and they definitely dirty the floors up but the S8 Pro has been up for the challenge.

Bought the White model. Been running this guy several times over the past few days testing both vacuum & mop as well as the separate modes for deep cleaning and love it! I finally know what clean floors are supposed to look like 🙂. Runs like a champ, the software seems well maintained and the whole unit actually adds to the aesthetic of the room, which isn’t something I’d expect from robot vacuums. I have a shedding dog that loves to roll around and back scratch on a rug and the robot is able to keep the low pile rug looking clean and relatively furless. And being able to do a quick cleaning run while driving guests back to the house was a great feeling. One minor caveat: if you mark a certain area as carpet, when running in the mop only mode the robot will still travel through the user-marked carpet area instead of skipping it to save some battery and time. However that’s most likely a software related thing should they decide to change it (and there may be trade-offs I’m not aware of)

I bought this for use in an upscale salon in Southern California. We have named him “Chives”. Every time he is “at work” I get this sense of relief in that I’m no longer lugging around a swiffer mop which leaves a sticky residue that leads to more of a mess. The schedules work perfectly for the salon atmosphere. Need to clean the bathroom floor during the day? No problem, I just select the room. The entire setup was hassle free and the ingenuity in having rollers that can be easily cleaned by pulling off the rotors on each side. The cycles options are great for a deep clean and then regular maintenance cleaning. I cannot say enough positive things about the S8 Pro Ultra… aka the Rolls Royce of robot vacuum/mops.

Just purchased the S8 pro ultra and I LOVE it. We moved into a house with all hard wood flooring and it has been a job trying to keep it looking nice. This mop/vac robot is amazing. I’ve only had it a day and got it set up and mapped the first floor of my house which I think only took 11 min….super fast. It mopped and vacuumed the first floor in 46 minutes. The app is great, very easy to use. I’ve already named the rooms and sent the vacuum to clean the kitchen only on a separate run. Programming a routine schedule during the week was also easy. Robot did not get stuck anywhere or eat cords. I did have most items picked up and cords mostly out of the way however. This is mostly habit from a very inexpensive robot I had before this. App has lots of options for customizing cleaning. Super thrilled with how the floors work.

I am starting out with a 5 start becuase I am optimistic about this product. After reading everything about this unit, and watching all the YouTube reviews, this seems to be the best choice of vacuum for my use. Lifting of mop and rollers were important to me that other units did not have. Now I just have to wait for the product to ship. I hope to return and complete my review in 30 days.

One week ago I bought I can’t get it to program to my iPhone and I have and iPhone 12 I have tried over and over my internet connects The machine works My sister-in-law law who has a machine just like this who told me to buy this one cause she loves it she can control it from her phone made me want one. Well I can’t seem to set it up. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing. Lol. I’m 69 yr old and not the most tecky person I have ran the machine and I find it cleans pretty good. Now it came with a 5x7 card with ALL instructions on how to clean parts numbers letters it was printer so small and confusing I had an anxiety attack. I had to walk away. I told my husband pack it up and ship it back (This was before I turn it on). I still don’t know how to clean the mop pads cause I can’t read the tiny print cards. I’m sorry my eyes aren’t the best that’s why I need help in cleaning my floors. Thank you Debbie

Since I use it, wow! , the roborock makes my life easier! It makes a little noise but no more than a normal vacuum cleaner, it sucks well and washes normally, it is true that the big tasks will not go away with the robot. I hesitated for a long time! But for me it gives me free time! if you have kids at home take it!
