I replaced my old HP printer with this one. So far doing a good job for me and I like the double sided printing as saves on paper. This model takes up so much less space than my older model did which is a plus for me. I like the fact that it loads paper in front and trying the instant ink deal on trial as for now. It’s working well on my WiFi and the price was a great deal!!

Love it. Replacing an HP Envy that was 7 years old. So newer ones are quite nice. Very fast Printing. Only complaint is it doesn't come with an instruction manual.

Excellent printer and the 6 months of free ink are quite a bonus. Thereafter a small monthly fee will provide refills sent by mail. This is my 2nd Envy 6458e, if needed, I'll order again...

Easy to set up & connect with my computer. I am not technical , but was able to set up & use in about 20 minutes. Also signed up for the "instant ink" program and so far so good!

Pros: prints well, generally fast, using instant ink and paper service, prints from iPhone or computer, 2-sided, tech support with live person. Cons: difficult to understsnd control buttons on printer; it would not initially print in color from any app except HP apps. I wasted 1.5 hours playing around with settings and having to go thru Tech Support chat (but did manage to get a live person even on Christmas Eve).

I bought this updated printer hoping it would connect better with my desktop computer and Ipad. It does not. Very frustrated with this. The printer itself makes wonderful copies. Just wish it was reliable in connecting on a regular basis with my devices.

Not overly happy with this. I don't like the control panel which is not in view unless it lights up. Then have to find what they each mean in the user manual online. Would be easier if it was obvious and in view. The paper has jammed a few times already, but when the ink was full, the printing looked good. I doubt I will keep this printer.

Took me 3 hours to get HP to help hook it up as the file was not available to install. The lady said it was an error in their system. I printed maybe 10 pages over 4 days and the printer went dead. Talked to service reps in India for 2 days and they finally allowed it was dead. Then someone called me back to say it was because I had no good internet but I did. Anyway, I had a USB cable hooked up and it should have worked that way. I borrowed a printer that is working okay and whatever I buy soon it WONT be HP

I would give this printer negative stars if I could. I bought this printer since it supposedly had upgraded firmware/hardware that would keep it online. I have an HP Envy 6455E printer which prints great except for the fact that it is constantly offline. I had to unplug it and plug it back in basically every time I needed to print anything to get it back online, even with it being right next to my router. This new HP Envy 6458E printer was offline and immediately came up with an E9 error after installing. After spending around three hours online with HP support, they finally got rid of the error and it actually printed a test page. About an hour later I attempted to print something and it was offline, then went back to the E9 error. I returned it and bought a Brother MFC-J1010DW printer, installed it and have not had a single issue with it. I will never buy a HP printer again, every HP Wi-Fi printer I have ever owned has had nothing but problems with staying online.

Did not realize it does not work without the internet. Took hours to install and even then, could not get my computer to recognize it as my printer. No help from HP although a week ago, “chat” took my number and said a representative would call. Also, how does anyone print when Spectrum loses service?
