I am very grateful to be able to purchase and use this slice mandoline. I feel confident and safe and it saved a lot of time. I am comfortable with most of the functions except for dicing which I have a hard time getting uniform pieces, otherwise I would give it a five stars.

The Safe Slice works fantastically! It is such a huge time saver! Cuts, slices, dices so perfectly for whatever recipe you need.The only thing I would change is the ability to clean it. It doesn’t come apart at all which makes it super difficult to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the product! It is super easy to assemble and really safe to use and clean. The only downside is I wish there was a better explanation on how to get the different types of cuts. There are two pages in the manual, but they don’t give a through explanation. After a while, we’ll get the hang of what number to put it on depending on the cut we want. It’ll just involve more trial and error. However, the product itself is fantastic!

Hard to clean and there is no way to sharpen the blade. The only way to clean is to put it in the dishwasher which will dull the blade over time. The chute is also to small to slice a whole onion into rings or slice a whole potato. It is perfect for brussel sprouts or a potato galette or smaller/thinner slices so I’m going to keep it

I just received my mandolin in the mail and tried it by slicing carrots onions and potatoes. I tried Julian or matchstick slicing with both potatoes and carrots. This is a terrific piece of kitchen equipment. I cut the carrots into 3" pieces and stood them in the chute. Fantastic 3" matchsticks Everytime!!!!!

I have received the item, unfortunately I have not used yet. But I plan to use it sometime soon. Looks good, with the exception that the space to put the vegetables through looks kinda small. So Im not sure I can slice thick vegetables like an eggplant unless I cut it thinner pieces.

I was hoping that this mandoline would work well, but I wasn’t expecting it to be great. The first thing I sliced was lemons - not necessarily the easiest to slice thin and I sliced them on “1”. This mandoline breezed through the lemons beautifully and quickly. The slices were almost perfect. I say almost because you had to cut the end of the lemon off and set it just so in the angled chute to get it to slice straight rather than on an angle. I would highly recommend.

I'm in love with this gadget. I've just made matchstick potatoes. cucumber and onion salad and slaw, and it's not even lunchtime yet. It's adorable and the aqua matches my other Dash products. It's very safe and I'm not longer concerned about cutting myself. I have a hand injury and have been having a hard time making the foods we love, but now I can! Thanks Dash.

I have only used the slicer once so far, but it worked great! I made french fries for my family. I always bake fries, so I was concerned the fries would be hard and not bake well. No problem at all. (I used a convection oven at 450 F. Clean up was fine. Just don't let the device sit and dry, rinse off ASAP.)I'm excited to try slicing more things! 2 thumbs up.

This is the best mandoline I have ever used! It is so easy to use, extremely safe, no worries about cutting your fingers. The mandoline stays put while slicing and does not slip. It is easy to clean, some slicing may need more time cleaning to get everything out of the slicer but it really isn't a hassle. Stores nicely. I would definitely recommend this slicer!
