I have only used the slicer once so far, but it worked great! I made french fries for my family. I always bake fries, so I was concerned the fries would be hard and not bake well. No problem at all. (I used a convection oven at 450 F. Clean up was fine. Just don't let the device sit and dry, rinse off ASAP.)I'm excited to try slicing more things! 2 thumbs up.

I just bought this safe slicer and I really like it. I have really bad hand tremors which makes it hard for me to be able to slice or dice anything without getting cut. I haven’t used the dicing part but I did slice some red potatoes and did the slices on thin and thinner. I put them in my air fryer for potato chips!

This is so much better than I expected!!! Can do so many things in such little time!!! The manual is extremely helpful as well. The levers were a bit confusing at the beginning but I looked at the video on website and was able to figure it out. Would recommend and would absolutely buy again!

I love the Dash Mandoline!! When I bought it I wasn't sure how often I'd use it but I've had it for a little under a year and I've already got my money's worth out of it! I use it to slice zucchini, potatoes, carrots, and so much more. It is super easy and safe to use and you can chop stuff up soo fast with it!

I was hoping that this mandoline would work well, but I wasn’t expecting it to be great. The first thing I sliced was lemons - not necessarily the easiest to slice thin and I sliced them on “1”. This mandoline breezed through the lemons beautifully and quickly. The slices were almost perfect. I say almost because you had to cut the end of the lemon off and set it just so in the angled chute to get it to slice straight rather than on an angle. I would highly recommend.

I like how it is easy to use and clean, but I don’t like how the knobs in the settings are not super intuitive. I have to keep looking in the book to figure out which way to put both knobs and the dial in order to change the thickness of what I am slicing.

I have received the item, unfortunately I have not used yet. But I plan to use it sometime soon. Looks good, with the exception that the space to put the vegetables through looks kinda small. So Im not sure I can slice thick vegetables like an eggplant unless I cut it thinner pieces.

Used my mandoline tonight to make stir fry. I sliced zucchini, scallions, carrots, bok choy, Napa and red cabbages, green peppers and celery. It was much easier than dragging out my old food processor. Even clean up was easy. The only way you can cut yourself is that you have to ignore directions and put your fingers where they warn you not to!! Very pleased

This is a great kitchen tool. Unfortunately, the chute is made of a hard plastic and I dropped and broke it. Dash doesn't have any replacement parts for this unit and so I have to buy a new one. Why doesn't any company carry spare parts for their products anymore?

I am retired and prepare or cook at least one vegetable a day. I own the GZ version of this mandolin and I noticed that a long rectangular keeper was just made available which I plan to buy soon. For thin slicing and julienne cuts nothing is better than this machine, I do advise rinsing right away especially for potatoes. DASH-please make an insert part for the food shute that will hold one carrot or celery. And consider making a guillotine shredder version of this with metal blades that could possibly be changed between fine, medium, course shreds-sorry but the julienne part of the current model is not the same as a shredder. It would need a longer food shute and food pusher without a lip but some anti slip prongs. I would be the first one in line to buy this. Thank you. Hazelnut
