Ive owned four high-end mandolin slicers in the past and have always worried about about cutting my fingers while slicing. Along comes the Dash mandolin slicer, which I recently received and tested and I have to say it is a genius kitchen product!! It works perfectly!! Super sharp, easy to use, super safe, very clever design, and two year warranty (if you register). A truly excellent mandolin slicer!!

I haven't used it very much but what I have done I am very impressed with it. I like the safety features and how it cuts so quickly and easily. I also like that it is easy to assemble and to clean. I really appreciate how it is so compact and easily fits in a drawer.

This is very easy to set up and it works very well. Theres not a lot to the adjustments, no blades to switch out, and it cleans up very easily. I like the little brush that is included to get everything out of the nooks and crannies. I have used it several times and it makes wonderful thinly sliced veggies. It is also easy to store because it folds down flat.

I have just used ot once . I felt it easy to use . One problem I had is that the container that collects the veggies is smaller ,so veggies are falling off from cutter and spreading outside of the container. I am not sure yet how to over come that problem probably have to keep the slicer on a plate.

Years ago I had a horrible experience with a traditional mandoline slicer and have been traumatized ever since, to the point that I couldn’t even watch someone else use one on tv, in person, etc. I watched a presentation of this and it seemed very, very safe and like something I would be ok using. I tried to today and could not be happier!! Completely comfortable and super easy to use! Thank you Chef Zakarian!

The Safe Slice works fantastically! It is such a huge time saver! Cuts, slices, dices so perfectly for whatever recipe you need.The only thing I would change is the ability to clean it. It doesn’t come apart at all which makes it super difficult to clean.

This mandoline is wonderful. It slices, dices and juliennes perfectly and it is so much safer than a previous mandoline that I owned (and cut myself on.) This produces perfectly thin potato slices for homemade chips. I make homemade french onion soup often and this will make the job so much easier (and safer!!)

I really like the design- it makes slicing an easy and safe process. I don’t feel as if I’m in danger of cutting myself when I use it. It’s also a great value-the quality is excellent and the price is affordable. I highly recommend this product if you love to cook!

Used my mandoline tonight to make stir fry. I sliced zucchini, scallions, carrots, bok choy, Napa and red cabbages, green peppers and celery. It was much easier than dragging out my old food processor. Even clean up was easy. The only way you can cut yourself is that you have to ignore directions and put your fingers where they warn you not to!! Very pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the product! It is super easy to assemble and really safe to use and clean. The only downside is I wish there was a better explanation on how to get the different types of cuts. There are two pages in the manual, but they don’t give a through explanation. After a while, we’ll get the hang of what number to put it on depending on the cut we want. It’ll just involve more trial and error. However, the product itself is fantastic!
