This is so much better than I expected!!! Can do so many things in such little time!!! The manual is extremely helpful as well. The levers were a bit confusing at the beginning but I looked at the video on website and was able to figure it out. Would recommend and would absolutely buy again!

I got this product for my mom, she has really bad arthritis especially in her hands so any sort of chopping or dicing is difficult for her. I believe this is going to help her tremendously! She is very excited to put it to use. And I love how many options there are!

I have only used the slicer once so far, but it worked great! I made french fries for my family. I always bake fries, so I was concerned the fries would be hard and not bake well. No problem at all. (I used a convection oven at 450 F. Clean up was fine. Just don't let the device sit and dry, rinse off ASAP.)I'm excited to try slicing more things! 2 thumbs up.

Definitely for firmer foods, soft stuff gets pretty squished. Only had it for less than a day, so I'm seeing a learn curve here. But all in all works as advertised for the most part, and it does save your fingers and give a more uniformed look to you food.

If you do a lot of food prep for preservation, canning, etc or just for cooking, GET THIS!!!! You get tired after a while you get careless, and bad things happen. Bad things CAN'T happen with this mandoline!!!! I LOVE this thing!!! A finger and nail saver for sure!

I've wanted a mandoline for years and finally bit the bullet. I researched many models, and since I'm a newbie I figured I'd go with a safe type. I'm glad I did. It makes prep work much faster and easier, and takes the worry out of working with sharp blades. It's also reasonably priced. Try one!

I am retired and prepare or cook at least one vegetable a day. I own the GZ version of this mandolin and I noticed that a long rectangular keeper was just made available which I plan to buy soon. For thin slicing and julienne cuts nothing is better than this machine, I do advise rinsing right away especially for potatoes. DASH-please make an insert part for the food shute that will hold one carrot or celery. And consider making a guillotine shredder version of this with metal blades that could possibly be changed between fine, medium, course shreds-sorry but the julienne part of the current model is not the same as a shredder. It would need a longer food shute and food pusher without a lip but some anti slip prongs. I would be the first one in line to buy this. Thank you. Hazelnut

Finally somone solved the great mandoline dilemma! This is so foolproof I even let my kids use it (under hawk-eye supervision of course). I have another high-end mandoline that I loved but have sliced my fingers on it more times than I would care to admit and I had a safety holder thing but I could never get an entire vegetable sliced safely. This is just the best kitchen tool to get your family (or just yourself) to eat more vegetables.

This is the best mandoline I have ever used! It is so easy to use, extremely safe, no worries about cutting your fingers. The mandoline stays put while slicing and does not slip. It is easy to clean, some slicing may need more time cleaning to get everything out of the slicer but it really isn't a hassle. Stores nicely. I would definitely recommend this slicer!
