This is a great kitchen tool. Unfortunately, the chute is made of a hard plastic and I dropped and broke it. Dash doesn't have any replacement parts for this unit and so I have to buy a new one. Why doesn't any company carry spare parts for their products anymore?

Definitely for firmer foods, soft stuff gets pretty squished. Only had it for less than a day, so I'm seeing a learn curve here. But all in all works as advertised for the most part, and it does save your fingers and give a more uniformed look to you food.

Years ago, I had bought a Pampered Chef Mandolin which was pretty pricey. So I had a party to earn it. After years of searching for the right slicer buying multiple ones, I have finally found it! With having back issues, this beats them now that I can do it in a timely manner. Plus it is compact, so will work great for camping, vacation while renting AirBNB places, my camper, canning, ect.. I had purchased it from Sam’s Club around Christmas and now wish I would have tried it sooner. Fried up home fries and onions. I was so impressed, I had my husband stop what he was doing to come and try it. Now I can unclutter all of the gadgets I have since this one does so much and is Safe!!!

This is the best one of the DASH products I have bought. Does just what it says it does, so well. Love it and the fact am not worried I will cut fingers, I can have grand daughter use it to slice things as my "helper". It was confusing to figure the little levers adjustment to set up julienned vs slicing but I just marked the little levers when I figured it out and now all is well. I use this at least three times a week.

This is one of my favorite purchases! I have always been terrified of my mandoline. I saw this one being used by an influencer on Instagram and decided I had to try it. I am so happy that I did! I now have a mandoline that does a fantastic job and I'm not afraid I'll end up in the emergency room!

I got this product for my mom, she has really bad arthritis especially in her hands so any sort of chopping or dicing is difficult for her. I believe this is going to help her tremendously! She is very excited to put it to use. And I love how many options there are!

I love this mandoline slicer. I'm a bit of a klutz in the kitchen and am always afraid of cutting a finger off while cooking. I'm adding a lot more vegetables to my dishes now that I have this. The knobs take a little getting used to, but once you do, it's very easy to use and works great.

I just purchased this and only used it once... it saves time and makes chopping, slicing or cutting a breeze. Normally it takes me some time to chop up my potatoes into fries... with this I did it in a minute or two. I felt like I cheated the system! I can’t wait to use it for more.

I have only used the slicer once so far, but it worked great! I made french fries for my family. I always bake fries, so I was concerned the fries would be hard and not bake well. No problem at all. (I used a convection oven at 450 F. Clean up was fine. Just don't let the device sit and dry, rinse off ASAP.)I'm excited to try slicing more things! 2 thumbs up.
