Great cheese. Melts well. Condensed so goes farther. And hasn't stuck or burned one time in crock pot

This cheese sauce tasted of metal can when used. Ricos should consider a different package....ie resealable plastic bag

The BEST cheese for nachos, Frito chili pie, Enchiladas and Mac & Cheese. Used the whole can in 3 days PERFECT!!

This cheese is very thick, I thin with about 2 cups water & 1/2 cup drained jalapeno juice. It begins to thicken up once warmed through a few hours in the crock pot set to high, then turned to warm.

Nice and creamy

These are the nacho cheese I grew up eating - the one sold by the neighborhood ice cream truck that stopped by everyday at 1 PM, none of that melted, shredded cheddar cheese stuff that hardens by the time it reaches your table that you find at restaurants. My only gripe is it is available for shipping only and at delivery, the can was visibly dented around the rim. Fortunately it wasn't damaged to the point where the cheese sauce leaked out. Since it is condensed cheese sauce, the instructions recommend mixing about 0.50:1 water to cheese sauce ratio. I find that ratio too runny, so I add 0.25:1 instead (i.e. 1/4 cup of water to 1 cup of cheese sauce). It freezes wonderfully too, so if you don't plan to use the entire can, just portion them out into individual freezer friendly ZipLoc style bag and freeze them until use. Perfect with a jar of La Costeña pickled jalapeños, also available at Sam's Club.
