It is what you would probably expect. It's efficient yes, but not mind blowing by any standard. The price is low so I often go for this when purchasing for canned food drives. Tastes fresh and still has a crunch and sweetness to it. A little more money than what you would pay for an off brand but what you get is good quality corn.

I already knew I love they're whole kernel sweet corn. It's the closest I've found to fresh that you can get in a can. (I made delicious soup with it)

We used it in our tacos and you couldn't even tell the difference. I will continue to use this in the future.

I usually just like plain corn so I cooked this up regularly just to add with some tacos and they were super easy to cook and it did not take very long at all. Del Monte has my favorite canned corn to add to my famous creamed corn recipe. ('Creamed Corn Like No Other' on AllRecipes). If you keep the juice in the corn, it has a more canned taste (metallic) but I always drain and rinse mine and have had no issue with the taste even on its own.
