I liked that since it's non-steroidal, it doesn't take several days to take effect. The only downside is the awful aftertaste that it leaves on the back of your throat that doesn't go away for over an hour it seems.

I take 2 allergy pills a day and have tried other nasal medicines to help the still itchy, runny nose I get. 1 brand I don’t tolerate well and the other has a super strong smell. I was hesitant to try Astepro because I hadn’t had good luck with others. I had a day my allergies were particularly bad and I decided to see what Astepro could do. Within 10-15mins my nose wasn’t itchy or running. I was impressed!! I didn’t find the smell very strong at all. It didn’t give me any side effects like the others I have used. I could easily use this everyday but for now I’m saving it for my rough days because nothing has ever been able to help before.

I liked the ingredients, especially since it’s alcohol free and fragrance free. Adult and full prescription strength so it worked really well. Easy to use and straightforward directions!

It worked faster than pills for me, and I noticed it didn’t make me as groggy as something like Benadryl. • Ease of use: The spray bottle is simple to use, but the technique matters. If I leaned my head too far back or sniffed too hard, the spray would drip into my throat. That’s when you get the bitter, slightly chemical taste that lingers. Not pleasant, but manageable. • Side effects: The biggest one for me was that bitter taste, and occasionally a light drowsiness about an hour later. Once or twice I also sneezed immediately after spraying. Nothing serious, just a little annoying. • Overall: For daytime relief when I needed to function (work, errands, etc.), it did its job well. I just had to be mindful about how I sprayed it to avoid the throat drip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this product. I’ve used another nose spray that didn’t work as well. As this one I could tell it worked right away. The price is pretty expensive, but the immediate relief makes up for it. I will definitely always keep this on hand as I have really bad allergies.
