I'm a 130 lb side sleeper and my partner is a 185 lb side sleeper. The mattress was very firm when it arrived. After sleeping on it about 2 weeks, it softened to the point where we just sunk down into it. No support. Horrible back pain. We gave it 5 weeks total but eventually returned it to the store.

I agree with so many reviewers....I used to be up and down all night with hip, leg and back pain. Now, I find the mattress supports my whole body and it almost magically has made my pain go away. Not only am I sleeping all night pain free but I also wake up pain free for the next day. I am overweight and found that other mattresses just didn't support like this one. Extra expense, yes......but you absolutely get what you pay for in this mattress!! We were told we had 30 days to decide if we liked it and my husband and I both agreed after just three nights that no one was taking this mattress from us. Love, love, love it!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is extremely comfortable and in combination with the mechanized lifts it makes for a truly wonderful combination to maximize both sleep and reading or using the tablet. Sleep mode is incredibly comfortable, especially combined with the tempurpedic pillow. This is a bed we use as a relaxation escape from everyday stress. It is truly wonderful. Highly recommend. This mattress is proving to be much more comfortable than my previous one that was Extra Firm. The mattress give complete support while being much more comfortable to sleep on. I always look forward to going to bed because I know I'll be sleep comfortably every time. I've also noticed my existing bedding fits this mattress as well or better as it is slightly small length and width while being 2 inches deeper. I do need to retuck the top sheet in again every morning after I get out of bed. It is a little more challenging to make my bed as I have to push the bedding around and under the hoop at the foot. I was told I could remove the mattress outer cover and wash it but it will be at least a two or perhaps a three person job as the Mattress is heavier than my previous one and it is not ridgid so it is more difficult to handle. There are four handles attached to the bottom of the mattress outer cover, two on either side to help.

Typically, we have a 30-60 day acclimation period . This product was an excellent choice with no "break in" period or any discomfort from the start. We are very pleased with our choice. It is now very difficult to get out of bed on these cold winter morning here in Minnesota!!!! And movement by either of us does not disturb the other. Motionless!!! Awesome.

Our mattress was past the 10 year mark but lost comfort years prior. It's nice to sleep through the night not having to get up because my hip and shoulder ache. My husband loves having the head and feet up, i love just putting the head up a notch! I like to hit the ground running and this bed is helping me get back there.

Firm, but doesn't cause discomfort. It is PERFECT for me. 5'5", 135 lbs, 34 yrs, female. I've never had a more comfortable bed than this. Only downside was I had to air it out for two months to get rid of that chemical smell, but I am VERY sensitive to smells. It's great now after four months of use. Contrary to popular belief, it is very supportive of activities other than sleeping. Great bed.

The product is very firm although it is supposed to be soft... NOT! It is very low to ground. The metal bar at foot of bed makes it impossible to sit at at end of mattress. Annoying!! I have a king mattress made up of two twin XL mattresses. The mattresses separate at center of bed causing a gap, which is uncomfortable. These mattresses are very expensive and I wish I could return!!!

If you are looking for a comfortable supportive firm mattress- go for the medium or soft. I love tempur pedic- but not this one- it is very expensive and I have neck and back pain daily- so disappointing. Before trusting tempur pedic firm and just purchasing- seriously consider getting the medium or soft version of this mattress. You will save yourself over 3000

Love the pro adapt hybrid. We replaced our 10 year old tempur pedic cloud with the twin Xl's and adjustable frames. Love the mattresses and the frames. We both selected the pro adapt medium hybrid but we could've had different mattresses in our king frame. We looked at the less expensive competitors but this is a long term purchase and used every day. No regrets; very happy.
