[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had slept on a firm Tempurpedic mattress at a hotel, and decided to buy one based on that. At the store, I realized that a slightly less firm one actually feels better on joints. The bed is super comfortable, and I find that I change position much less during the night (usually 2-3 times only). That makes for a more restful night and I wake up more alert and ready to go. At first, the 'squishiness' of the mattress when I sat on it made me wonder if it would be comfy, but it is the most comfortable one I've ever had.

Our first Tempurpedic mattress was 19 years old, and the "original" memory foam mattress. We started shopping, looking at the "competitors". Then we said, "We know we love our Tempurpedic, so why switch?". After calling Tempurpedic and telling them we wanted the "exact same" support as our first mattress, they pointed us to the Proadapt firm. The first night, I couldn't sleep and thought we had made a bad decision. The second night, to today, sleep is amazing. No waking up sore or achy. My husband and I both have back issues, his are worse. Since we purchased our first Tempurpedic, his back has been so much better. Can't brag on this mattress enough! Beware, it is REALLY FIRM!

From the first night with this mattress, I've slept better than I have in decades. I don't toss and turn like I used to. I often wake up in the same position in which I fell asleep. The first few steps out of bed are no longer tender. Knee pain and hip pain are absent. To say I'm happy with this mattress would be a serious understatement. I give this as high of a recommendation as I can possible give!

So, we bought the twinxl split king. We have had the mattress now a month and its finally getting softer. It's been like sleeping on a ply-board. The first two weeks my back and joints hurt me bad when first getting up. The reclining adjustable base with LED light is nice to have at night. Love the vibrating base. Is it worth what we paid. Hard to say at this point.

This is what I imagine mattresses in heaven feel like. I had serious back pains with our old mattress. I knew I had to get serious about my mattress choice. I was hesitant to spend this much but it was without a doubt money well spent. My back pains are gone and I am no longer tossing and turning at night. You can't put a price on a good nights sleep.

Once you've laid on a Tempur-Pedic, you won't want anything else. The cooling effect from the mattress is wonderful, it really helps keep you comfortable through the night. The mattress even looks better than other mattresses. It's definitely a quality mattress that will last.

When Tempur-Pedic says Firm, they really do mean Firm. It may take a few nights of sleep, to get use it. One thing that really made a difference, we purchased the Tempur-Pedic sheets. Cool and comfortable.

At first I was a bit concern because I have never had a firm bed before. I was so use to a soft mattress that I was wondering if I made a mistake...., BUT now, I wished that I made this purchase a lot sooner... My lower back and legs are so happy now...! I sleep so well especially since I work the overnight shift, sleep is essential.... ! I need my sleep to function on my shift. This mattress makes my sleep during the day much easier to get. This time we decided to go Tempurpedic as we heard they had a hybrid and that they had perfected keeping you cool. To date we are pleased with our purchase. it's worth the extra cost for the hybrid. We purchased the adjustable frame and enjoy the luxury of choices it gives us.
