After looking at several mattresses, I bought the firm pro-adapt mattress. It is very firm but I have read that as you use it, it will get softer. I like it but it is very different compared to the other mattresses I have owned. I am still getting used to it. It is very pricey but hope to fall in love with it as I sleep on it.

Did not get restful sleep until I GOT MY NEW MATTRESS and have been sleeping soundly ever since. My new one is better than my old one. Coupled with the adjustable base and I don't snore as bad, no sore throat when i wake up. If you want a good nights sleep this is it. I don't even get up to go to the bathroom 3 times a night anymore. I suspect discomfort was waking me, vacating my bladder allowed my joints to get back in alignment so I could go back to sleep every night. Now if I wake up I really do have to go. We have not seen any difference yet, we're having worse back and neck pain. We were told to use it for 120 days before we could see any difference. We are using this bed over a little over 2 weeks now. The bed retains heat. So prepare to lower your thermostat. We will give another review after the time frame.

I've had my Pro-Adapt Soft mattress for nearly 6 weeks, and I'm still just sleeping on top of it. It's not conforming to my body at all. I tried walking on it daily to break it in more quickly, but that didn't seem to make a difference. My shoulders get sore when I sleep on my sides, and my back hurts in the morning. I would definitely say it's not worth the cost.

So soft and firm, don't feel my partner when he gets in or even my dogs! It's just perfection! I have chronic neck pain and wow I wake up comfort and ready to face my day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We slept on an old, lightly used traditional guest room mattress for over 10 years that was given to us when we got married. This is a completely different and improved experience for us. I sleep on my back with wrist braces on and rarely turn side to side. I was having back pain each morning and would awaken early due to how uncomfortable the mattress was. We decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a new mattress. When shopping we came across many hybrids but when they told us that tempur-pedic was the brand recommended by doctors for people with back problems I was sold. Why not get the mattress I might need in the years to come anyway- its like wearing orthotics in your your shoes. We went for the hybrid model to have a little more structure to the mattress but got the more expensive version of the model we were looking at to get the few more inches of foam and I think it was worth it. Hopefully it may make our mattress comfortable for longer (that is our hope). I no longer wake up multiple times a night due to back pain or hearing the springs move and make noises when my husband tosses and turns. We both sleep much better. I no longer look forward to taking trips and having to sleep on a different mattress, because now I love mine and I know that nothing will match it when we travel. It's actually a great feeling to know that your best sleep is the sleep you have at home a majority of the time. I do recommend the 5'' bed base, the 9'' was too high and we would have needed a stool to get into bed. I really wanted a 7'' which is my one recommendation to temper-pedic but the 5'' feels natural for us when getting in and out of bed for people our height (5'6"-5'10"). We have had the mattress for 4-5 months now. We would definitely buy it again.

I bought the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid as a warranty replacement for my old 2007 Deluxe mattress. The Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid is MUCH better, although I think I could have gone with the regular Pro Adapt Medium. The hybrid has a slightly softer feel despite the fact it is also a medium. I thought the regular Pro Adapt medium was too firm when trying beds, but now that I've had the hybrid, maybe the regular medium would have been better. Maybe not. I'm 115 lbs, 5' 1 1/2", back sleeper with back and hip pain. I sleep pretty well on the new bed. The old Deluxe was 10" thick, which I preferred. The PA Hybrid is 12". I wish it wasn't so thick since I'm short. FYI, sitting on the edge of the hybrid is fine. I found I tended to slide off the edge of the regular Pro Adapt Medium. Another reason I went with the hybrid. Overall pleased, but with it wasn't such a thick mattress.

Doesn't seem as soft as in the store. But overall pretty comfortable, maybe I was expecting too much with all the hype for a tempurpedic mattress. I would buy again because of the comfort still. With the box spring the bed sits pretty high, almost have to jump in.

It's been over 9 months of nightly use and it feels as good as day 1. The medium hybrid seems to be the perfect balance of soft plushness and support for my wife and I and of course we love the adjustability. Paired with cozy earth sheets and big blanket co comforter makes getting in bed the highlight of the day most days. Highly recommend!

I panicked when this mattress was delivered because it was SO firm. The first couple of nights were actually uncomfortable but within a couple weeks, it was conforming to my body and I now sleep better than I ever have. It's the perfect balance of support and comfort. I no longer wake up with my body aches and pains.
