the lids are horrific

Heavy good quality glass bowls. Use them as bowls as well as food storage

I love Pyrex but a lot of the lids are misshapen/defective. Had to exchange one box, it was so bad.

Misshapen lids

Larger storage container spontaneously exploded while sitting on the kitchen counter. Shards of glass were everywhere, including other food items that were near by. Everything had to be thrown out due to safety. Concerned about other bowls doing the same.

Safety Concerns

Yeah, these are great containers to store stuff in. My only complaint is that the set comes with too many of the very small ones—I’d prefer more large ones. Other than that, they’re excellent. I like that they’re glass and not plastic, and the lids are durable. Even when they get cold, the lids don’t turn brittle or crack like some others I’ve had.
