I owned some glass food storage containers already and I spent much more money than this getting them! So when I saw these, I snatched them up quickly! You can store everything from a small amount of grated parmesan cheese, or leftover ranch, to individual serving sizes of a meal, to a huge salad for one person, to saving half the pot of soup or chili for your family, you'll find what you need. The best part is that in glass, my food doesn't go bad as quickly. I've noticed this especially with fresh fruit and vegetables. Strawberries used to go bad in two days max. Now I wash them, dry them, put them in one of these and they last a week or longer! Seriously the best, I love them.

Love this 28pc Pyrex Simply Store set! I've been looking for glass storage containers as it makes it easy to reheat leftover dinners without worry! In addition to airtight storage, I also use these sturdy glass bowls for mixing recipes and sometimes use them to serve salad or ice cream! Excellent value! I highly recommend the Pyrex Simply Store Set.

These Pyrex dishes are great helping in the kitchen, especially during the summer. We try to keep salad and sandwich, supplies, fresh vegetables, clean, cut and ready to go so that someone can just grab what they want and then put the rest back and keep everything fresh and these were great for this they stack I can see what's in them. We can see when we use something up easily and whatever we wanna make for ourselves, we could see it in the fridge that it's right there in front of us they're a great summertime help.

I liked that you can freeze Pyrex and I don't like using plastic containers they fit and stack well in my fridge/ freezer. I will be going back and buying more , plus they have like the cup sizes on the bottom as well so no more guessing on the size. Love them

Absolutely love these! I am in the process of switching from plastic to glass containers so these are perfect. I much prefer the Pyrex lids to the ones that clamp down. I worry that the ones that clamp down have so many crevices that germs might linger even after washing. I would really love it if Sam's would get the square and rectangle ones as well. BTW, I bought them for myself and showed them to my daughter. She ended up taking the first set home and I had to buy another for myself.

I have bought this before last year, there are 3 big one. Now only 2 big ones. And they are thinner glass than the old version.

I like using glass storage containers. Unlike plastic containers, they are nontoxic and do not leak toxic chemicals into the food when stored in the refrigerator. I like the variety of sizes that come in the box. The Glass storage containers can also be put in the microwave or oven without the lids. Just make sure the food comes to room temperature before putting in the oven! The only drawback is that the lids crack after a year of use.

Prepped food from freezer to microwave with ease. Great for storing 1 or 2 cup proportion of my cajun meat sauce dishes. During summer I scoop my husbands favorite Bluebell ice-cream directly into 2 cup bowls. If you've got one of those husband's who can't scoop it himself, this is perfect, & even for the kids. Buying this whole set together was shipper than separately. Only draw back the lid edges split over time, but can buy just lids off Walmart's website.

The containers are an excellent concept: we have a set and gave another as a gift. Unfortunately, the lids are poor quality. They can’t handle the heat of warming contents in microwave oven. They are also prone to cracking after a year or two of use. And whatever you do, NEVER put the lid in a dish washer. Even in the upper rack, they distort and warp.

I have purchased pyrex in the past and have been very pleased with it. With this new set, I took a piece out of the cabinet and filled it with some hot apples that had been cooling on the stovetop. I placed the container on the countertop to continue cooling before refrigerating, and the next thing I heard was a loud pop, and found that the container exploded all over the kitchen. This should not have happened, as the container had not been placed in an oven, nor was it placed in a fridge while it was cooling. It is clear that there must have been a micro fracture after manufacturing.
