Augason Farms Lunch and Dinner Variety Emergency Food Supply 4-Gallon Pail

The food is ok and easy to prepare. I bought to make suppers easier and reduce need for shopping trips.

I cant give it a 5 because I have not tasted any of them but it was a speedy delivery and it seems to be what I was looking for

May be a slightly cheaper option

We placed it in our tornado shelter—just in case we need it. Hope we don’t but it does give peace of mind that we won’t starve in an emergency.

Convenient

Have not eaten. Purchased for emergency supply.  All the brands are mostly starch, and full of msg.  Wish there were better options, but this is as good as any on market I guess.

I haven't tried it yet but I love the fact that it just has lunch and dinner,no breackfast.

Quality purchase

These are normal meals that you have to cook for as you regularly do because they are not dehydrated, just a mix. I rather will buy Maggi or Knorr pouch soups or other brand that cost much less. In both situations you have to add water and cook for 15-20 minutes. Or better, buy the lead brand MH, a little expensive but  I have tried before and are truly dehydrated, you have to add just boiling water and wait  5-7 minutes and it is ready to eat.

Sad and Dissapointed

I bought this item about a month ago.  It's better than I anticipated.  I am a widower, 10 months into my 89th year.  So far I've tried the hearty chicken, the stroganoff and the corn chowder--a total of 15 meals.  The meal preparation is so simple; just boil water.  I'm about to try another item.
