We just received are package we are saving for emergency can't say how the food is but we did buy some emergency food long ago and it was delicious Butter than being very hungry for sure the kids too will love the food. Thank you Augason company

I guess I should have read the details a bit more closely. I didn't realize that the serving size didn't mean individual packages but one large PKG that serves multiple people. Not exactly what I wanted.

I just received it so I am putting it in storage for an emergency food shortage. I will not know what everything tastes like until then. Hopefully not for a long time

I have purchased this product in the past and decided this year to buy for each family within our family, to give them a start in storing food. I keep preaching, they keep procrastinating. This is good tasting, easy to prepare food for an emergency. Comes in a nice, sturdy square bucket that stores nicely anywhere. I was lucky enough to get them on sale on black Friday. I wish I had bought more.

I’m concerned at how long this will really last. At least one package seal is broken maybe more because there is loose mix or food in the bucket. A couple package is sealed so their is no air in it. The rest have air so I’m confused at what each package should be like.. I probably will return it.

Haven't tried the product but from looking at the ingredient list looks very satisfactory. For the money it is very well priced. I compared to others before purchasing. I consider this a form of insurance. It's here if I need it.One does not know what emergency could arise that it would come in handy, especially with the weather as it has been. We bought it, put it in our closet and now peace of mind. Takes up very little space.

I ordered 2 containers. I received the product quickly, it was packaged as 2 plastic containers inside of a cardboard box, and there was no damage. The containers are well sealed and stack very nicely and are easy to store. I have not opened them and do not intend to until they are needed as an emergency food supply. I can not comment on the products as far as taste or the contents inside of the containers for that reason. I have shopped several places for emergency food and this is the best price for a variety that I have found. For what that I have seen of this product so far I have given it 5 stars.

SamsClub.com had the best price on this emergency food pail, including free shipping. I like that the food is packaged in a convenient plastic bucket that can be useful in emergency situations. I placed my order in mid October and it arrived from the vendor with a manufacture's date of May 2014. With a 20 year shelf life, the food should still be good until 2034! That's amazing :) I haven't tried the food, but I'm expecting it to be on par with other freeze dried meals I've eaten. This will be a good addition to anyone's emergency supplies. Much cheaper per meal than commercially available MREs in any case.

I RELIED ON OTHER PURCHASERS TASTE TEST TO MAKE THE DECISION TO BUY, BECAUSE I DON'T PLAN ON OPENING THE INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES UNTIL NEEDED. THE THING I REALLY LIKE IS THE FACT THAT WHEN I OPENED THE BUCKET TO INSPECT THE CONTENTS, ALL OF THE POUCHES HAD A MANUFACTURE DATE LESS THEN 45 DAYS OLD.

Anything with rice may not be easy to cook. But overall is very tasty and easy to prepare.
