Great till 20k

I agree with the user above the tires are great and you hit about 20,000 miles I purchased 10/2019 And just replaced got them at 31k miles just replaced at 60k with lots of tread left. The more miles you get the more wobbly kids and shaky it made me think my limit was off or something else was wrong now tired or replace not a single issue alignment was fine. It felt like the tires were going to shake off..

BEST MT TIRE

I purchased a set of 35" BFG Mud Terrains a few years back for the first time and loved them. When I was ready to move up to 37's they were out of stock. So, I purchased a set of Discovery SST Coopers in 37". Good tire but I sold them as I felt that they couldn't compete with my KM3. SO now my FJ Cruiser and JK Rubicon are both sitting on KM3 tires. These are great for the daily drive and excellent on the rocks. My JK will now move up to 39" KM3s as soon as these 37's wear down and my dana 60's get built. Needless to say this will no longer be a daily driver. Unfortunately, this isn't happening fast enough. But I absolutely love these, and I think highly recommend them without a doubt.

Excellent off-road; noise and squirrelly on-road

Love the tire off road, performs excellent and absorbs a lot of shock and impact. They are heavier and mileage has decreased. I've had them since 2019 and have put @ 15k miles on them. Still holding at 70% tread life. Rotate every oil change. Here's the kicker; they are squirrelly on the freeway and like to wander the lane. They can be a bit wishy washy if you have to abruptly lift off the throttle. I've put BFG on all my cars and trucks for near 20 years and always will. I think when these go, I'll back down to the AT's. Lastly, I did buy a fifth spare MT so I'll be offloading a new MT to swap to AT's. Love the tire, off road they are king, on road you need to be ready to provide extra driver input.

Completely surprised at Pre-mature wear

Bought a brand new Jeep Unlimited JK Willys edition. Look of tire is great. After and second rotation, mechanic called and said we had severe cupping on the front and we rotated to back next oil change and winter beginning and the rear tires do not have enough to be safe. The Jeep has 29,000 miles on them. Always thought BF Goodrich was the best. Tires are rated for 60,000 and didn't make it have way. Suggestions?

We understand the Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires on your Jeep Unlimited JK Willys did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

Still going at 40k

I drive a 2017 Chevy Colorado ZR2. I got a set of the BFG Mud Terrain tires at around 31k miles in June of 2020 as a replacement of the awful stock tires. I was having sidewall punctures with the wimpy p-metric stock tires they put on these new trucks these days. I am at 80k and still have a bit of life in them. I run them in mud, rocks and heavy gravel. A bit noisy but that's to be expected . I won't trust anything else. I've always used BFG tires beginning in the late 90s. Mostly the KO all terrains. I've seen them evolved over the years. I also ran the older kM2 tires on a Chevy 2500HD. I've owned Land Rovers, Chevy trucks and others and have always insisted on BFG all terrains and or the mud terrains. Best tire out there!

Best on the market

The best M/T tire on the market! I have run quite a few other manufacturers M/T tire and so far this is the best out of all of them! These are replacing Nitto trail grappler and for people saying that B.F.G tires are cut small, once I had these mounted and under weight of my Jeep they measured the same. On the road the KM3 handles better then the competition and on the trail they do a amazing job! Even on wet roads they hold traction way more then other M/T tires. I am definitely going to keep running B.F.G tires from now on!

North Carolina to Montana and back

I've always had BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires and have always been very pleased but I decided to give the new KM3 a try. I couldn't be any more pleased! These are by far the quietest and best riding mud tires I've ever had heard or rode with. Once in Montana I drove my truck through many different conditions ranging from sticky mud, slick mud, Ice and snow. I honestly put myself in a few predicaments that I shouldn't have and every time these tires made up for my questionable decisions. BFGoodrich has set the bar pretty high with this new tire and I probably owe them dinner for getting my truck back home.

Feels Quite a Bit Different from the KM2s

I used to have K2s before I got my 285X70R17 KM3s. Here are some differenced I have observed: The KM's are noticeable wider than the KM2s. I did not measure the width of my KM2s, but I had to cut the stops on the tailgate for the spare tire on my Jeep JK by about 3/8" for the tire to fit onto the spare tire holder. So I would say the KM3s I have are about 3/4" wider on the sidewall than the same size KM2s I replaced. This is not a complaint - I just thought I would share my observation. The KM3s feel "squishy" compared to the KM2s. I am running them at the same 37 psi as the KM2s. The "squishy" feeling is very noticeable on turns and the Jeep rolls much more than it used to. The steering response also seems to be diminished. When I make a sharp turn, there is a very brief, but noticeable delay in the vehicle responding, and when it does, it feels like it is grabs. The KM3s have a different noise than the KM2s. The KM3s have a higher pitched hum than the KM2s. This higher pitched hum is mildly annoying. I have read that the tires get noisier over time. Hopefully, the noise will not increase too much. I realize these tires are more intended for off-road use as opposed to highway or city driving. I have not tried them on the trail yet.
