[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are new, so they cut well. I love that they are self sharpening. The base has a very long and awkward triangular shape so even against the wall, the knifes stick out very far to the end of the counter (easy for kids to grab and not very space conscious). Even guests have commented on the length and have offered to help cut the back off! My daughter asks to use it as a Barbie slide!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the feel in my hands. The weighted blades make the knives easier to control. What I don't like is the mixed message about "dishwasher safe" yet "hand washing recommended" What does that mean? What happens if you only wash with a dishwasher for teh high heat and sanitation?

I've started watching a lot of cooking videos and everyone says it is important to have a good set of knives. I decided it was time to stop using cheap knives and get a good set that will last me a lifetime. My son has a set of Henckels knives and is very happy with them. I decided that was what I wanted. I love the self sharpening feature of these knives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this, from my order placed and upon receipt, I love the feel of these knives! The shears are the perfect size and not super bulky, compared to a lot of kitchen shears. I am really going to enjoy this set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying the Henckels knives. I love that I do not have to manually sharpen with each use. The sharpening mechanism within the block takes care of that. Plus, the Henckles looks lovely with my kitchen decor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been building my collection for 30 years and graduating to a block with a full set of beautiful, functional, always sharp knives is so exciting. The difference in ease of use with these compared to other knives is palpable. A friend watched me prepare Christmas dinner a few days ago and couldn’t believe how easily I sliced through the meat I was preparing for the grill. He said, “that’s some high quality meat!”. I said, “and the knives are no slouch either!”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this knife set! The self sharpening feature within each (non serrated) knife slot makes such an immense difference compared to my old knife set. I’ve never owned a Henckels knife set before but I am certain if this isn’t the last block I buy I’m going to buy another one from these folks! The knives are made of stainless steel and have a razor sharp edge that can even give you a shave and thanks to the sharpeners built into the block it should stay like that for me. I highly recommend this knife set to anyone looking for a new one or even for a quality upgrade that will last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new set of knives. From handle design to blade sharpness I've finally found a set I enjoy using in my kitchen. I'd be curious to see how self sharpening feature works after some time but so far it looks promising.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it a lot, only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because the slanted angle of the knife block takes up a lot more counter space than my old one. Which is a draw back if you have limited counter space. Other than that the knives are great.

Everyone needs a sharp knife in the kitchen, and I never had knives that stayed sharp. Always dulled after several months. This set is just what I needed. Great assortment of knives that will definitely see me through all the jobs in the kitchen. Steak knives are also included, which I love so that everything is in one place. The best part is that I can easily sharped the knives each time they get dull. All you need to do is run the knife through the slot several times. If you don't want to sharpen you simply just pull the knife out. Very convenient and easy to use.
