I started out with a 3 peice set at my first apartment, graduated to a 12 peice set when I got married. I have been using that set for the last 17 years. These knives are built to last, but it was time for an upgrade. I wanted a set that was self sharpening, I have no idea how to do it well myself and no idea where to take them. I am very impressed so far. The weight and balance of the knife is perfect. I like the stainless steel on the top of the block. This set honestly has more knives then I will need, not even sure what some of them are used for. The picture diagram on the box was helpful when putting the knives in the block. The only negative comment I have at the moment is the block is much bigger then I had anticipated. I knew the measurements, I knew what I was getting, just still surprised me. Great set of knives for the money, great knives for someone who is an everyday chef. Hoping to get another 17 years out of this set!

I love the self-sharpening block which makes the sharp knives always ready to use. The assortment is truly complete. Can't rave enough about them. So Happy I found this company and this set of knives. I was looking at replacing my basic knife set, so I did some research and found this company. After looking through a couple different sets I setteled on this set because it had more then 4 steak knives and a built in sharpener. I didn't think the sharpener would be anything fancy but it actually works really good. This set of knives are super sharpe and durable. So happy I have a few different knifes to choose from and I know my knifes are always gonna be sharp!

We have had this set for about a year now. We cook a lot and use our knives everyday. We hate cutting with dull knives and love that these knives are still sharp. The difference in ease of use with these compared to other knives is palpable. A friend watched me prepare Christmas dinner a few days ago and couldn’t believe how easily I sliced through the meat I was preparing for the grill. He said, “that’s some high quality meat!”. I am upgrading from a smaller more basic set and love the additional knife choices. The knife block does take up a quite a bit more real estate on my counter than my previous block set. Hoping the additional knives offset the loss of prep area.
