My wife picked up a couple of these for me to have for lunch. I wasn't expecting much but gave one a try today. I already had the toaster oven preheating when I read the directions. "Remove top and cook in the microwave for 10 minutes" Hmmm, how is it going to get brown, I wondered. Well, 10 minutes later I popped it out and gave it a try. The crust was brown and flaky and to my surprise, it was not just a disk on top but went down the sides of the pan as well. The chicken was large white chunks and plenty of them. The gravy and veggies were very tasty as well. Kudos to the chefs at Marie Callender's for developing a pot pie that cooks perfectly in the microwave. Great job.

I recommend the Pot Pies strongly. There are so many good things about them. They microwave well and you don't have to slit the crust. They consistently brown and cook well. The full crust is delicious, both top and bottom. The filling is good tasting with big pieces of meat. Been eating them as a quick, filling meal for 2 years. Really like them. The fact they come in 4 packs is an added bonus.

I used to love having one of your chicken pot pies on nights that my wife worked late. I bought an 8 pack of your chicken pot pies last week and had one for dinner last night, it was terrible! There was very little ingredients, watery gravy and the crust was definitely was not flakey, it was crunchy at best. I am going to complain to my grocer and see if I can get a refund because I won't eat another one or ever buy another one.

I just had a chicken pot pie for lunch and was very disappointed. Although there were nice big chunks of chicken in there, there wasn't much else. A few pieces of carrots, celery and peas. Most of it was crust (which was very good). I just wish there was more filling.

I just tried your Chicken Pot Pie for the very first time. I heated it to package directions. Let me tell you that it was terrible!!! Way too salty; 750mg really? The texture of the chicken was akin to rubber. The carrots weren't cooked all the way; the large ones anyway. I ate the pastry which was pretty palatable!.

I purchased Marie Callender's in the past and was very satisfied. Something has changed! There were little to no vegetables, to much pastry, and only three pieces of chicken. Marie Callender's used to be a good brand and worth paying more. I won't do it again.

I really, really liked your chicken pot pie. It was my guilty pleasure. My last two were not up to your usual deliciousness. I bought a single pie and it did not have much gravy and the bottom crust was hard to release from the pan. I had to scrape it out. I tried again by buying the four pack. I am SO disappointed. These are not the same pies I used to eat the last couple of years. I never eat the chicken, I always save it for my dog. I add more frozen peas and I'm a happy camper. Please bring back the old recipe.

I bought one of your Marie Callendar's Chicken Pot Pie yesterday and ate it last night. I cooked it in my conventional oven It was very good until I got to the gummy bottom crust. It was so gummy bad that I couldn't eat the crust. I got a teaspoon and ate the pie off of the crust. Cooking it in a paper pan in an oven at 400 degrees is not acceptable.. I won't try one again until I hear that you have improved the cooking method. Sorry.

I loved these, but the new method of cooking in microwave (removing top entirely) means there is no browning of the top crust, resulting in a mushy mess. The texture and taste is now similar to an under-cooked fruit pie. I'm sure it somehow saves you money, but you've lost my business.
