Not what it used to be

My friend got me hooked on these in 2010. Out of nostalgia, I bought the 4-pack. Was so disappointed. There was mostly salty gravy, 2 peas, no carrots, 1 piece of celery, and 2 pieces of chicken. At the price I paid, this is definitely not worth the value. Do a quality check on these things because my friend says it's a little better at the store where they live (lives on opposite side).

Loved the Pot Pies!

My husband and I don't usually buy frozen dinners. As I get older, I don't wish to cook every night for the two of us (two children on their own). Your Chicken Pot Pie (16 oz.) (what I chose) and your Beef Pot Pie (my husband's choice) were excellent. The pie crust was excellent as well. I know that I will try many more of your products. Can't wait to get to the grocery store! Thank you.

Chicken was full if gristle.

My wife and I just had a chicken pot pie and the experience was very substandard. I had to spit some of mine out because the chicken was not good cuts of chicken. I actually swallowed a couple more bad bites of chicken. It was terrible and I have always thought Marie Callender products were pretty high quality. I didn't say anything to my wife when she made a statement that the chicken was not good in her pie. The number on the box is 5014 3304 00P3 13;31 P45. I hope this is not where you , as a company, have gone in regard to quality.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. This is not the quality you should expect from our chicken in our pot pies. We'd like to get some additional information and make this up to you. Please email us at wecare@conagrafoods.com. Thanks!

Disappointed with the processed "chicken" product in these p

Marie Callender's pot pies used to be like homemade and I could count on them being a high-quality product. But with the replacement of the chopped chicken breast pieces, that is no longer true. Our family was looking forward to Chicken Pot Pies for dinner, but we were very disappointed. The pieces of 'chicken' are pulverized chicken reconstituted with soy protein. Bland sponge chunks in my pot pie - bleck! The crust is still very good and the sauce is wonderful. I'd still like more vegetables in that tasty sauce. But with the processed chicken food product, Marie has joined the ranks of cheap, economy pot pies. I won't be buying them anymore.

What happened to the filling?

The last 3 chicken pot pies I bought there was the same problem, outstanding crust, but almost 0 filling. One piece of chicken (yes I am serious) and 3 small pieces of carrot, in maybe 3TBS gravy! The crust is perfect, don't mess with it, but come on! Put the filling in, these used to actually be the way the photo looks, stuffed with yumminess. Now we get a near empty crust.

What happened to this product???

I just had a Chicken Pot Pie and it was awful. I use to love this item. What happened to it? The crust has changed and the chicken is now chicken product chunks. Yuck. I will not be buying any more Marie Calenders products until you improve the quality. Thank you, Lisa

Bring back the Old Version!

I have always loved Marie Callender's pot pies, especially the Chicken Pot Pies. However, something's changed and not for the better. I think it's the new packaging that results in the pot pies not cooking properly. The crust, the meat, the vegetables - nothing tastes good anymore! Please bring back the old version!!!

So yummy

This pot pie is my go to meal when eating alone. Or when eating with my youngest son We love the larger pot pie that really gives a filling meal. The taste is just right and not salty as some others have been. ..Not worth my making it as it is so reasonable . Thanks for a great product. Now we have to try the fruit pies.

Awesome

We ate at Marie's off Havana in Aurora, Co when we lived in Colorado several times a week and always enjoyed our meals. Holiday pies were from Marie's also. We now buy frozen Marie's at PUBLIX or Walmart in Florida and enjoy pot pies several times a week. My favorite is Corn Chowder. Going to try Ham and Potato soon. Wish there was a restaurant nearby, but until there is one, we will continue to buy frozen. All Marie products are AWESOME.

Fantastic!

I'm not a huge fan of frozen pot pies, but I picked one up on a whim, and I was pleasantly surprised. The crust cooked perfectly (which is my main issue with other frozen pies), a little doughy on the inside, and crisp on the outside, just the way it should be. There was at least 4 oz of meat in this, which I think is more than enough. The meat was a tad over seasoned, but not a deal breaker. It tasted amazing! I have yet to be disappointed by Marie Callender's!
