Very Flavorful... But EXTREMELY Dry

I really, really wanted to give a good review on this pot pie. It had great flavor and the chicken tasted great... BUT.. It was so dry.. there was hardly any "gravy".. Like I was eating mainly crust... Speaking of crust, the top did get brown and crispy which was awesome considering I cooked it in the microwave... Please just add more gravy to your recipe to keep it from being so dry. Thanks! :)

Should be called "Crust Pie" not Chicken Pot Pie!

I used to love these and have been buying for years. A nice quick meal for a decent price when they are on sale but lately they are terrible! What's going on with quality control? During this past year the pieces of chicken, carrot slices and peas have dwindled to the point of nearly NONE. Sometimes a pie will have 2 pieces of chicken, 2 carrot slices and 8 peas. Sometimes 4 chicken pieces, 5 carrot slices and 5 peas. Today I had one with NO carrot slices, 2 pieces of chicken and 7 peas. Yes, I've been counting these 3 ingredients while eating your Chicken Pot Pies. There's very little gravy inside and they are so dry and salty now too. What a shame. Sigh.

Packaging Change Ruins Texture

I loved these, but the new method of cooking in microwave (removing top entirely) means there is no browning of the top crust, resulting in a mushy mess. The texture and taste is now similar to an under-cooked fruit pie. I'm sure it somehow saves you money, but you've lost my business.

Terrible - Bring Back the Old Ones

The new pies you cook with the top off are absolutely terrible. They are flavorless, too many carrots, dry and basically meh. The older pies from a few years ago that had the special browning top were superior in every way. I am going to throw out the other pie I bought because its not worth the calories. BRING BACK THE OLD POT PIES

Frozen pot pies

My husband and I used to love your chicken and beef pot pies. We enjoyed them frequently as an easy to prepare meal when we were exceptionally busy. Well your chicken and beef pot pies have become so watered down that they no longer have any flavor. The last couple of times we have tried them we couldn't finish them. It's sad to see another well know and loved name brand bow to the cheaper/easier production model. I would gladly pay more for the old recipe.

Has pie changed?

My wife and I eat a lot if your chicken pot pies, but have noticed a change??? It is suddenly all dough, no filling. We are looking to try other brands as we are very dissatisfied with this product. Please retain a loyal Customer and change the recipe! Thanks,

Go back to the old recipe!

The pot pies have changed too much to list everything; burned crust on the bottom and crust overall is tough and chewy. Filling, what there is of it, is dry (used to bubble, yum!). Cannot cook in the toaster oven anymore, which was very convenient not to have to heat up the whole oven for two pies. How these passed the trial phase is beyond me. Please go back to the old recipe. Will not buy again.

Better than a restaurant pie?

Wow, impressed enough to come on to this site and review. Microwaved for 4 minutes, finished in a 400 oven for 7 minutes and it came out perfect! Flaky crust (has a bottom crust too!), crisp peas and carrots, and the chicken was of some of the best quality frozen chicken I've ever had! As long as these never change, I'll buy them!

Fatty processed chicken pie

Over the years I have realized people who don't know how to cook will say anything taste good especially after reading the reviews on here and trying a pie for myself and this is a horrible pie the crust is not flaky but hard and crunchy the peas are undercooked very little chicken the chicken is flavorless very small pieces you don't even realize you're eating a piece of chicken until you get to the fat and the carrot slices are too big for the size of the pot pie I wouldn't even eat this pie if I was broke and starving.

Not what I was getting when I first started buying your prod

I have been buying your pot pies for a while now and was totally inpressed with them until lately. It seems that you have changed the veggies in them. The carrots are as hard a if they are frozen and not cooked at all. Rubbery and have no taste. Very disappointed.
