will not buy again.

My husband and myself had your chicken pot pie. I did not care for it at all. The crust was hard there was hardly and sauce or gravy in mine. About for or five pieces of chicken. There was a lot of peas and a few pieces of carrots. I will not purchase this again. I was very disappointed especially after seeing your commercials it always looked so good.

Gross chicken

I've always been a fan of your pies. But all has changed in the last year! Your chicken is dark, fatty, and has gristle. I have had to pick all the meat out so I can eat the rest of it. Please fix this... For what your pies cost, this shouldn't be an issue.

It's like coming home again.

Eating a Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pie is like going back to your quaint childhood town after years of life in the big city. First, it starts with the aroma of the pie as it warms in the microwave. The smell begins to fill your senses and grows nearly irresistible. Often times I catch my self opening the microwave 10, 15, or even 30 seconds early since I just can not resist it any longer. You're supposed to wait a couple of minutes to let the pie cool, but I have to dive in immediately. I've burned my mouth a couple of times, but it's worth it. Taking your first bite is like walking downstairs on Christmas morning. As your taste buds detect every avenue of flavor, you grow more and more attached. Every piece of chicken, carrot, or pea fills your stomach with warmth and nutrition - just like Christmas presents. This is absolutely an experience everyone must try at least a dozen times in their life. The only downside of these pot pies is that they might ruin normal food for you. Comparatively everything else is bland and boring.

Quality Control? Really?

I scooped up a spoonful of pot pie and bit into it and ended up breaking my bridge on something hard (we thought it was a big chunk of bone. It turned out to be a desiccated piece of chicken. Their insurance denied reimbursing us and we're going to have to go to court over it even though their Lab says it was in the product when it was shipped. Not good.

what you see is NOT what you get

Yes, we like to enjoy a chicken pot pie now and then rather than a meal in the dining room in our retirement home. Your website (including the picture and description on this page) show the pot pie with veggies that include carrots, celery and peas. The past two times we've dined on them, the only veggies were corn and potatoes. There may have been a bit of celery, but we didn't detect it. No peas or carrots. Your TV and grocery ads, along with the pot pie cartons, do show the entire mix of vegetables, excluding corn either in photos or print. What's going on???? Pat

Excellent Quality and Taste

Great autumn dish, Lots of Chicken and Veggies. No Fat. Nice Sauce. Taste is very good, wish it had less salt.... Do not understand why the directions say cannot be made in Toaster Oven. I don't like them from Microwave, and seems ridiculous to heat up the big oven for one pie.... Anybody know?

Terrible

I recently purchased a 4 pack of Chicken Pot Pies. After cooking pie, following the directions on the package, waited the 5 minutes and served the pie. There was no gravy in the pan, it was dry, hard and tasted burnt. I will never purchase another Marie Callender product or recommend them to anyone. This is not the first time this has happened, I just wrote it off before. I am tired of paying out good money and receiving a poor product in return... Live and learn, I guess... 5014 6019 00 P3 08:15 P45 Best if used by Jul 12 2017

chicken pot pie

As much as I love the pot pies, the nutritional information is a little midleading if you don't pay attention and read it clearly. The information is for 'one cup' which is actually half the pie, and not 'one pie'. And for as yummy as these are, to only be able to eat a half of a pie is very hard. The complete information for a full pie is twice which is listed on the nutritional facts, or 630 calories, 59 carbs, etc. I wish M.C. could come up with a pie a little lower in calories and carbs, otherwise something of lighter fare. But these are so yummy, anyone watching what they eat are going to have a difficult time eating only half of a pie. (Jan. 2013)

Excellent Pot Pies

I recommend the Pot Pies strongly. There are so many good things about them. They microwave well and you don't have to slit the crust. They consistently brown and cook well. The full crust is delicious, both top and bottom. The filling is good tasting with big pieces of meat. Been eating them as a quick, filling meal for 2 years. Really like them. The fact they come in 4 packs is an added bonus.
