I have always loved Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pies. Obviously, so do a lot of other people, since a big box store sells packages of 8 at the time. But the amount of meat seems to be going down, and now I just got gristle in one I was eating. It happened two times in the same pot pie. I have to wonder if they are cutting corners because of the economy or what. I prefer to pay more and have good quality than have junk. Homemade are obviously better, but much more work. I suppose I will need to resort to that if the quality continues to decline. Bummer.

I purchased a large box of pot pies. I was very disappointed, as these used to be good. The crust is good but the picture on the front shows the pie loaded with chicken, celery, peas & carrots. There were only 3 or 4 pieces of chicken & only about 3 pieces of carrot, a few peas & no celery, VERY disappointed. False advertising!

I have bought Many Marie Callender products over the years and been well satisfied with the product. I just finished a chicken pot pie prepared in the microwave as directed. It was DRY inside, chicken was tough, and crust was NOT very tasty. What happened to the pot pies I used to get? I won't be buying these again if this is the quality now available. I ended up tossing most of it in the trash.

This pie had 4 peas, 5 sm. pieces of carrot and 7 small pieces of chicken. That's it. I haven't eaten one of these pies for a few months but do remember that they had a great deal more to them than this. The end result being that what I got for my cost was a very few pieces of actual food surrounded by crust. The amount of food in this pie would only be adequate for a young child about 4 or 5. What has happened to your product??

I used to get these as a guilty pleasure. I had no illusions they were anything resembling healthy, but they were so good, I didn't care. Now? Totally not worth it. There's very little filling and no matter how much time I cut off the cooking time, the inside of the top crust is completely burnt. I bought 2 a couple of weeks ago, one original and one chicken corn chowder (that was an accident, I just saw chicken and grabbed it out of the freezer case at the store), both were pretty much the same with the corn chowder version being slightly worse since there was basically just a hollow shell and nothing resembling a gravy or sauce inside. Just not worth the fat, carbs, or sodium if it's not going to be even remotely satisfying.

Marie Callender's pot pies have for years been nothing less than the best pot pies on the market. It's one of the few frozen microwavable foods that I prefer to homemade. Superior taste, quantity and quality made it stand out far above its peers. One of the noteworthy parts of the pie was (alas the past tense is intentional) the tasty, flaky full (top and bottom) crust. Unfortunately, on my most recent purchase, gone was the cooking envelope that used to be found inside the box. The product is now contained only by the box and is cooked in the box. The result in my experience was a crust that was doughy on the sides and bottom, especially the bottom. In the past I have always been quick to recommend this product to friends and family. As long as the packaging remains as it was on my last purchase I will no longer be able to do that.

I bought the eight pack, as I had done before, but this time there was so little filling in them. I bought them a second time in the eight pack because they were so good the first time. Those were full and tasty. This second batch had a lot of crust but extremely bare on the filling. The taste was just "ok". I was truly disappointed. I am skeptical about buying them again for fear they will be like the last bunch.

I had bought a few of my favorite Marie Callender's microwave meals, the 16oz Chicken Pot Pie. I put it in the microwave for the normal recommended amount of time, to only find it burnt completely through... the culprit? There was no chicken in the pie at all! Just a couple of carrots and peas! Not cool Marie! :(

For years we have bought Marie Callender pot pies. The last few years some changes have been going on. The crust now is hard as rock and not at all pie like. It's too bad because the filling is yummy and generous. We've switched over to another brand of pot pies. The crust is real pie crust. To us, the crust is important. You can always doctor up the filling.

I hadn't eaten a pot pie since my mom made them for me 40 years ago. My wife bought yours because they were easy for me to cook. ( I'm off work due to medical issues) I just wanted to say they brought back some wonderful memories from my childhood, and to tell you to keep up the good work!!!!
