There are many things to like about this pot pie. Nice chunks of chicken, reasonable proportion of chicken to vegetables, top and bottom crust and it's pretty. A good value. I think you should omit the onions. They have a peculiar perfumey flavor that takes away from the rest of the good tasting ingredients. And I have major problems with the labeling! Why are the instructions for microwave cooking twice as big as those for conventional oven? Oven cooking is far superior. Not only is the type twice as big, but there are illustrations that aren't needed and take up space and there is a lot of room given to white space. The size for the microwave instructions is literally three times larger than those for oven. Reduce this so the oven directions are readable! I could not read it with the package in direct light and wearing glasses.

We have been eating these for many years now. Love the flaky crust & the sauce is very flavorful without tasting overly salty. BUT...we getting really stingy with the chicken & the vegetables are a joke. They show all of these vegies pouring out on the box image & when it comes to broccoli...don't expect any of the flower...mostly stem & very little at that! OK if you want crust & sauce.

I buy the chicken pot pies a couple of times a month and they are better than others I've tried. However, they are lacking in filling. The ads show a pie filled to the top with chicken and vegetables and this is just not the case. I like the taste and I would give it 5 stars if there was more filling.

I have been buying these chicken pot pies for several years and was always satisfied with their taste and quality of ingredients. However, approx 6-9 months ago, I've noticed the quality of the chicken pieces has declined. The chicken is now tough and has pieces of gristle in the chicken. I originally thought maybe I had bought a bad batch as I buy these in cases of 12. My next case was the same - tough with gristle in the chicken. The test of the pot pie is good but the chicken ruins the whole meal. I decided to give it one more try and bought another case. Same problem with the chicken pieces! I'm sorry, but I can no longer buy the Marie Callender brand. What has changed? Did you get a new chicken supplier? Are you using cheaper meat? I am willing to discuss this with your quality control department of you would like. Thanks for listening, Frank C.

I have purchased the chicken pot pies for several years and have been pleased. Tonight I prepared two for dinner and bit into a chicken bone about 1 inch long and very sharp. I am thankful I did not prepare this for my grandchildren. I will no longer purchase them nor recommend them.

These pot pies are amazing. I have always enjoyed pot pies and Marie Calendars are yummy. We keep some freezer food for those days when cooking is just not going to happen and these pot pies are one of our freezer staples. They are perfect for lunch or dinner. They are the perfect size. I love pot pies on a rainy cold especially. Enjoy!

My husband loves these. I'm concerned about them because there is so little chicken or vegetables. Today I solved that problem by cooking two chicken tenders per pie and adding them after the pie was cooked. There was plenty of gravy to make it a hearty meal. We would be willing to pay more for a hardy pie that contained much more filling.

Well to start with the perforations on the box leave a lot to be desired they just do not work like they are intended to, and no matter how hard you try they do not cook completely but i do have to say they are a big improvement over the ones before the perforated box version came along now here is a tip that they should include as a suggestion on the box if any of you have trouble getting the pie out after cooking it like i do to put it on a plate before cooking i remove the pie from the pie plate and give it a slight spray of Pam or what ever cooking spray you use after its cooked it just drops right out of the pie plate (you could grease the pan lightly if you do not use cooking spray) works great for me and i do like the pies hey just my 2 cents worth.

The flavor was good & the crust was great, but more money needs to be spent to include quality chicken. After eating like 4-5 pieces of chicken & they were all grizzle, I stopped eating the chicken & just enjoyed the rest of the pot pie without eating anymore chicken. Certainly better than banquet but I'm going to try making my own pot pie so that I can make good chicken in it.

Let me first start by saying I am a big Marie Callender fan. I like most of the frozen meals they make. That said I just had a Turkey Pot Pie of theirs and it has a taste of turpentine/gasoline/glue or some other spirit mostly towards the bottom of the pie. An unmistakable taste I started searching around for something inside. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the container, but I will not be buying any of these again.
