Conventional oven, raw crust

I follow the diections. I wait close to an hour and time after time bottom crust is raw ( under cooked). I have tried making it in my oven, I have tried making it in my new toaster oven... same result. I've tried differnt color metal trays to cook it on, I've tried more time, higher temperature... Really frustrating. Looking for a new brand. I'm done.

Delicious Chicken Pot Pie

Advertising works !! Chicken pot pie was one of my childhood favorites. I have lived in Europe for the past 25 years, but am back in the States for a few months. I saw the advertisement for Marie Calllenders Chicken Pot Pies, and bought one for me and my husband. Delicious, and brought back wonderful childhood memories.

bad rating for packaging and crust. Sorry Marie,

I 'm not at all happy with the new packaging on this product. In the store, ALL the boxes were open, allowing air and fingers to touch the pies themselves. I couldn't find one that wasn't open. So I decided that maybe the over heat would take care of germs. I put it in the micro per instructions, and found that the top crust was not crispy like it used to be. wasn't browned like it used to be. So there's three reasons that I'll be buying another chicken pot pie in the future The packaging that had the foil that the pie sat under to heat worked just fine. Why would it be changed.

No Vegetables

Will you get meat and gravy but no vegetables..they talk about carrots, peas and celery, but you play hard to find them in the pot pie...I love the pot pies but they need to be better at getting more of everything in them. Others companys give you vegetables and no meat and MC give you meat and gravy and no vegetables....what is up

Bad

I had My first Marie Calendar Chicken pie for dinner tonight. It was more crust than food and what was there was not that good. I only ate a couple of forkfulls of crust and it was terrible. I have a nasty taste in my mouth from it. I will never buy it again.....ever!

For what is is, it is great.

No, this isnt your grandma said home cooked chicken pot pie or mine for that matter but for what it is, it is darn good. It is a good tasting pre-made dinner. If you follow the over directions I'm sure you will be satisfied. It is a little small especially in the middle of a Minnesotan dinner but in a pinch I'm a happy lady.

Pot pie'd

My family used to really enjoy the pot pies but something has happened ! Their used to be a blend of Vegetables,Chicken, and gravey ! As of about the middle of 2017 their is Only about 2 tablespoons of gravey , 3 peas and 1 chunk of carrot , an 3 small peaceies of Chicken ! And a hole lot of CRUST ! That hole pot pie just crumbles into a DRY pile of crust when done ! So we now bye the Boston Market brand instead ! Very sad as we loyle customers for many years !

Chicken pot pie

Lov them, enough said. I tried Boston market, Stoffers, and no were close to this. I use the microwave and it just comes out of the carten with ease. No fuse, no scraping out. The best I ever had. I am a food critic, I would sell these door too door, and I would have a satisfied customer every time. No brainer awesome job. Lov them. :)

Horrible

Since you have repackaged the pot pies with the browning dish, they are almost in edible. Cooked 9 min. As directed-----bottom was so burnt that it was in edible----couldn't cut or chew it. Rest of crust on bottom was also tough and half burnt. Pies are a big disappointment. Waste of money----and I still have two left in my freezer.
