Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pie looks good on the box, with chicken, vegetables, and gravy spilling out. However, the pie is virtually an empty crust. A section of crust adhered to the little pan, leaving a viewport into the center of the pie, which was mostly empty space. It was a nice crust, though, and there were a couple of bites of actual pie filling, but I won't be buying any more of these. (It isn't a transient manufacturing problem; I weighed another pie, and the weight of the product and the weight printed on the carton match.)

I have been enjoying your 10 oz chicken pot pie for years. However, the last eight pack, of pies changed that. So far I`ve eaten 2 of them. They were almost 1/2 full. I thought 1 could be a error somplace, but when I carefully opened the second one, it also was almost 1/2 full. Now I expect the rest will be the same. I am writing this for my spouse. She has recently had bad experiences with your Chicken Pot Pies. She says that the chicken meat has become inferior with too much fat gristle and overall poor quality parts. She says she will no longer be buying your product and that it does not have the tender white chicked pieces shown on your TV ads.

I love your chicken pot pies, but, the new way to cook them (remove the top of the box, slit the crust, cook 9 to 10 minutes) does not give a "flaky" crust...it is tough and chewy......The box with the "shiny" top works really well.......this is the 16oz pie......everything cooked well.......just the crust. Thank you for listening.

Such a large company surely hires someone for taste testing. This pie made me wonder if anyone of your professionals had ever eaten one. Old veggies - the carrots although sliced were fibrous - the peas were tough on the outside. I kept removing things from my mouth that couldn't be chewed. Big chunks of chicken that tasted like an old rooster. The whole thing had the flavor of a strong, not very fresh, chicken. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

I've always bought MC pot pies because of the quality of the product and the fact that it's not all crust and has not only quality ingredients but is filled and not all crust. Well I just finished a pot pie for dinner and it's obvious something has changed. All of a sudden MC pies are just like all the rest with hardly any filling. I guess it's time to stop paying a premium for MC products and just buy whatever is on sale.

In the last month I've purchased and eaten two of your Chicken Pot Pies. I was very disappointed in them. The chicken was tough and dry and hard. I couldn't eat it at all. The first one that I ate a few weeks ago was the same. I thought it was just a one time fluke as I've had your Chicken Pot Pies before and they were fantastic. So tonight when I cooked this one I expected it to be like the ones I had had before a year or so ago. They were so good. I checked the expiration date and it was May 17, 2015. So it should have been very fresh. Thank you for your attention to this matter of the chicken being tough dry and hard.

We normally "love" your frozen foods better than any others, but .... yesterday mom and I each had a chicken pot pie. Mine was delicious and perfect, mom's was burnt on the top and all dried up! She was very disappointed and now is leary of buying any more of your pot pies. She told me that she cooked my pot pie a little longer than hers, yet mine came out perfect. So we must assume that the pie was overcooked at the factory!?! The numbers & info on the box are: 5014 3269 00P1 04:03 P45 Best if used by March 20 2015. I sure hope this was an isolated incident, as we love (loved) your pot pies over any others we've tried.

I purchased the pot pie because the picture on the box displayed all these vegetables that should be in the pot pie. The pot pie I purchased had one (1) pea, three (3) carrots, zero (0) celery, a few pieces of chicken, and a small amount of gravy. It was mainly crust. Absolutely not worth the money. Very disappointed in this Marie Callender product.

i purchased my first box of chicken pot pies today. 4 to a box. i was really amazed when i got home and found out how you have to cook them. surely there must be a better way than having to put pieces of foil on crust. i am 71 years old and have limited use of my hands and being able to hold onto things. this was a very frustrating experience for me.
