[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had air purifiers in the past but this has been the best one I've ever used. I keep it between our kitchen and living room. Anytime I have an odor in the kitchen, it works so well at making the odor gone fast!! I love that it shows the percentage of how clean your air is. I keep it on auto because that is more energy efficient. The max is very loud so you wouldn't want it on that all the time. It is large but that isn't an issue with me. I love that you don't have to constantly change the filters. I highly recommend this air purifier!!

With the windows open most days to let in the sea air, this purifier helps keep the indoor air quality top-notch. It sits right next to my gas radiator, which I've found to be the best spot for it to circulate clean air throughout the room. It's quick to clear out any cooking smells, which is a real plus. I'd recommend it above any other purifier - and I've tried quite a few!

I purchased 2 of these to replace older Bissell air cleaners. Unfortunately I returned both. The reason I returned both was because of the automatic "Eco" setting. I am a firm believer that when an air purifier is constantly filtering air, even at a very low setting, that it will read the air pollution more accurately. These air purifiers have an automatic "Eco" setting that turns the fan off. You cannot set it to filter at the lowest setting without it turning off after 5 minutes or so. Definitely felt like our Bissell air purifiers cleaned the air more often then these brand new ones. So I returned them. Also, the design of the filter housing at the bottom of the unit is nice but not practical. You have to be VERY careful when repositioning or moving the unit because the filter housing at the bottom will unlock easily and when you lift the unit the filter comes out. Not every time but often enough to where it becomes annoying. One last thing. The overall design is beautiful but since it is a cylindrical shape it's not very practical if you are positioning it against a wall. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

We suffer bad allergies and we are always sick but ever since I've had this the air in the house feels really cleanse we're not sneezing as much and our allergies has been really good I even tested by lighting a scented candle right next to it, and it will trigger the machine to Work when I put it on auto, it will start cleaning the air and the percentages drop and I'll tell you how much time it needs to clean and purify the air.  it detect any allergies at any size and it will pick up and you can hear the machine start working blowing out air really cleaning it and the style looks very nice. It is a little bit on the bulky and big side so I do try to use it like behind the couch.

I can't really tell much of a difference in my indoor air quality or odors. My allergies seem to be a little worse lately now that I have the Shark but maybe the pollen count is higher. I ordered an Eden Pure a few months ago and it left an odd odor in the living room where I had it. The Shark is better than that. Maybe I'm expecting too much.

My favorite feature is the long lasting filter (5 years vs ~6mo life). Another favorite feature is the air quality indicator! Overall, I'd definitely recommend this product over other air purifiers I've tried in the past!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to give this thing a fair trial. Being in the kitchen it kept reading 0% clean air. It was near the litterbox so we gave it a pass. Our closet has had a smell since we installed shelves so I figured a small enclosed space would be an easy test to see how well it works. We have an air quality sensor that we compared it to. As you can see the ACTUAL particals per million are far less than the Shark purifier reads. It has been in there for a full month and the “air quality” has not changed. There also is still a woody smell from the shelves. So not only is the sensor absolute garbage, so is the purifier itself. I didn't think about it and you wouldn't believe the bad air that is around all of us, in our homes, outside, everywhere. I couldn't believe how much bad air that was around me and my family until I received the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier Max from influenster for free to review. I thought that there might be 5% to 10% of bad air but after it read the air and showed me that there was 36% bad air in my house I couldn't believe it. Every since I seen that there was 36% bad air around me and my family that day, I haven't quit using the air purifier to clean the air out in my house. It has made my house smell better. There is a big difference in the smell of good air compared to bad air. It even helps you breathe better. You wouldn't think that air could have so much to do with the way that you breathe but it really does. I am planning to buy a couple more of the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier Max so that I can put them in some of the other rooms in my house. It is quit and you don't hear it at all unless it detects any bad air and then you can hear it while it cleans the air but it isn't even loud then.

When it is shedding time everyone struggles. However this Shark air purifier makes the air clean and fresh so we can breathe easy once more. I really like the look of it, it fits nicely with any home decor. The touch top and controller can be used separately or only one. When fire season kicked up smoke in the air the indicator let us know how bad it is as it cleans. I like being able to see it change slowly until it reads 100% clean. Also, has an air freshener which is optional if you want to use it or not… i would definitely recommend. This has helped everyone tremendously. Allergy season has stopped bothering us for the most part when inside. It is super easy to use and works amazing. I am impressed with the quality and will be purchasing another for the downstairs. The air is clean and everyone in the house feels better.
