I've been using this new filter for a little while and it's helped to make a huge difference in our air quality. There is practically no assembly required! I love that there is a child lock for the buttons and it's super quiet! I've been keeping it on auto mode and I don't have to worry about it. I put it out in our refinished shop and it started out at 65%, yikes!! So now I defiantly need a second one!

Work great while they work. The "5 year never change" filters have to be cleaned and now after less than 6 months need to be replaced. I purchased 2 of these at the same time, and both of the filters are falling apart due to repeated (bi weekly) cleaning. Without being cleaning, the purifier says the room is 99% dirty and runs at full blast 24/7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to give this thing a fair trial. Being in the kitchen it kept reading 0% clean air. It was near the litterbox so we gave it a pass. Our closet has had a smell since we installed shelves so I figured a small enclosed space would be an easy test to see how well it works. We have an air quality sensor that we compared it to. As you can see the ACTUAL particals per million are far less than the Shark purifier reads. It has been in there for a full month and the “air quality” has not changed. There also is still a woody smell from the shelves. So not only is the sensor absolute garbage, so is the purifier itself. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air filter is a little machine and much better then the hunter air filters I previously had in my apartment, I'm extremely allergic to dander, dust, animal hair and this keeps that to the minimum without any hassle! Plus the fact that the filter doesn't need to be changed every month is incredibly convenient! Well worth the price tag.

I like that you can see the quality of the current condition in a simple display. It is amazing how you can tell such a difference from the first day of use. Has so many nice features. Seems of high quality and great value. I am sure to get years of use from this. As always Shark never disappoints with their great products. Highly recommend.

After a few months our unit began to have a high pitch whistle. We clean the unit once a week and we're dumbfounded by why it was doing this. I took a lownpressure air nozzle to the entire unit and still it whistled. I wiped the accessible area with a microfiber towel, no change. I called SHARK and after they saw and hears, via video chat, the issue, they immediately sent a replacement. I hope this new one doesn't begin to whistle in the next few months. We love SHARK. They are amazing at replacing warrantied units. Always get a warranty, I've used for every SHARK unit we own.

Seems to work well. Moved into a very dusty old house and felt like the air quality wasn't great. I love that it gives easy to understand air quality rating. We started at like 55 percent. After it gets to 100 percent it shuts off. It's a couple rooms away but it always kicks on when we use the gas stove or when the heat kicks on. Setup was super easy too.

Basically a RED ZONE for all things related to air quality, pollen, pollution, etc. We also have dog, birds, cats. During the mornings, we like to open our windows to let some fresh air in but we also get the pollen. For years, I've had to have an inhaler as it affected my lungs. We tried the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier and what a wonderful piece of modern technology. Out of the box, it was ready to plug in. You also get the odor neutralizer (we have a home gym and that room gets rather muggy and smelly). We love the look, design, functionality, and the SILENCE of this thing. Even when it's fully powered. There's no distractions or attention drawn. It's beautifully sitting there in the corner doing serious work. I love the digital reader that shows you what your air quality is. We noticed how low our score would get after making breakfast, cutting the grass, or even running the vacuum cleaner. Rather than that air simply circulating with your ceiling fans, this purifier is recycling the air and you can feel the magic. The first night we ran this and then walked downstairs, it felt like a brand new atmosphere we were in due to the amazing air quality and smell. I haven't used my inhaler as I have had no breathing issues after we received this. That 'home smell' every home has is no longer present as the odor neutralizer makes your home / air smell quite amazing. I no longer have to apologize to my guests as we walk past the gym room as it normally smells just like a gym bag but it smells pleasant! This is a MUST HAVE piece of technology for anyone. Homes need these and your quality of life will appreciate you for it. We cannot recommend this enough!

I bought this a few weeks ago, and I was hopeful it would do everything the description said it would.  My wife and I built a new home, and it is so dusty.  She says she can dust one day, and the next day, everything is covered in dust again.  This was really bad in our bedroom because our furniture is dark.  After a thorough cleaning of the room, my wife tells me there isn't any dust, even after five days.  She is thrilled.  We do have the unit set up in the bedroom and have it at full speed during the day.  We are going to move it into the living room to see what happens then.  I will probably buy the smaller unit for that bedroom as no other room seems to get as dusty.

I'm not sure if this air purifier really cleans the air. I was sure my air was contaminated with dust and cat hair/smells and was surprised when turning it on for the first time and getting a 96% air quality. Never thought my air was that clean, so I bought this air purifier. Can't really tell any difference in my allergies. The purifier is and the airflow seems fine. But is it really doing anything? Or just displaying that my hair is good? Wish there was someway to tell.
