We have numerous short power outages lately,I wanted this to watch TV,use microwave, make coffee etc. without having to haul out the gasoline generator. Just so happened 2nd day I had it power went out for 4 hours and it worked great for a fan and watching TV. Just what I wanted for short outages.

Easy purchase on-line and received product earlier than expected. I immediately charged up the Generac generator and it functioned better than expected. Product was exactly as advertised, and the price was exceptionally competitive. Will recommend Walmart to anyone interested in purchasing a Generac solar generator.

Good product

l bought this to use in a hurricane. lt has stayed powered up ready when needed. So easy to use and l bought a cart to move it around. The relief l have knowing this generator is ready when needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't go wrong with a name like Generac for your power needs. So far I've used it for a camping trip and it worked great. I was able to run a fan and charge 2 phones multiple times without using up all the charge. The wireless charger on top is very handy as well as the light on the front. The screen shows you all relative information about the unit. There are 3 receptacles and 4 total usb ports, plus a round car style port. It looks and feels heavy duty and doesn't weigh too much. I plan to purchase the optional solar panels soon but haven' needed them yet. I'm overall very happy with the power station and look forward to the other many uses I'll get from it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn’t be more happy with this product. It is easy to use, and is perfect for tailgating home back up, just about anything! My favorite feature is it tells you how much longer you have until backup runs out. It quickly charges back up once the battery is dead. Everyone needs one!

The GB2000 is a Fantastic unit for what it is, we purchased it going into another Huricane season refusing to part of the chaos hunting for batteries and lighting... While we haven't needed it for a hurricane just yet it has saved me during 2 power outages lasting hours! By that I mean I hook up the fridge, run a small fan and just relax... Obviously during a hurricane food would go in prepped coolers but definitely a lifesaver in a pinch...

As a Generac employee, I was invited to test the product in exchange for my honest feedback. I have used the gb1000 on two occasions. Took it for Deer gun season as a backup in case of generator issues. Thie second for ice fishing trip where we powered our fish finder and underwater camera. Came in handy as well for charging our cell phones. So much nicer than listening to a generator.

Picked up the new GB1000 and the box seemed super heavy. Once I pulled the unit from the packaging it was still a bit heavy but so small and easy to carry, even for an older gal like me! Plugged it in to charge up and it only took a couple of hours to fully charge. Then we used it to power our Christmas Tree and holiday music for the day! The best things about this power source are that it is totally silent, safe to use indoors, and it is safe to have around pets! My husband says, "best present ever!"
