Clothes dry in one cycle, not two or three. Wash always looks good, no stains and wondering where they came from. Love this set!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Talk about a big step forward - this was like switching from a loud rumbling horse carriage to a whisper quiet electric vehicle. This review will compare the old and new washer. As you can see from the photos, this was a big upgrade. The old washer and dryer looks like something from the 80's whereas the new one looks like something from the new millennium. Cosmetically, there's no comparison which one looks better. The old unit was the old tradition drum washer and made this loud and horrible slushing sound when running. People had difficulty sleeping when it was running. The new washer is super quiet and you could hardly notice it running if someone didn't tell you. From a capacity standpoint, both the capacity of the washer and dryer in the new stacked unit was almost twice that of the old unit. This means double the amount of laundry could be done in the same amount of time. Big score. One convenient feature that I really appreciated with this stacked washer and dryer unit is that the controls for BOTH the washer and dryer are accessible n the middle of the unit where everyone could access it. If the washer and dryer were purchased as separate units and stacked with a stacking kit, the controls for the top units would be way up high and hard to reach. This is a major convenience feature for anyone who needs to have a stacked washer and dryer and for height challenged people. I did encounter one surprise which was that my old stacked washer and dryer unit only needed a single 240V outlet. The new unit had a separate 240V plug for the dryer and separate 110V plug for the washer. So, if you are replacing an old unit like mine, make sure you have accommodating electric outlets nearby or else you will need to hire an electrician to install a separate 110V outlet (like I had to do for mine). All in all, I am very happy and satisfied with the new unit. Like I said, its like night and day.

I have all samsung appliances less than 5 years old The refrigerator has had 2 ice makers, the dryer has had the main circuit board replaced and the washer has developed 2large cracks in the top. Samsung won't cover any of. It as warranty I will never purchase another samsung product !!

From scheduling wash cycles to receiving alerts when the laundry is done, the app offers unparalleled convenience and control. Capacity: the Large capacity washer an equally spacious dryer, the Laundry Hub easily accommodates my family's laundry needs. I can tackle laundry efficiently in one go. Super Speed Wash and Dry: I appreciate being able to complete a full laundry cycle in record time without sacrificing cleaning or drying quality. Vibration Reduction Technology: The Vibration Reduction Technology ensures a quiet and stable operation, even during high-speed spin cycles. Flex Auto Dispense: The Flex Auto Dispense feature offers added convenience by automatically dispensing the right amount of detergent and fabric softener based on the load size. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy the Samsung Washer and Dryer is so easy to operate. The interior of the washer and dryer is pretty big which I like. The capacity of the washer is 4.6 cu. ft. with Steam Wash included and the dryer has a capacity of 7.6 cu. ft. which is plenty large enough even for bedding. I haven't used the steam wash yet, but I have had the opportunity to use my phone to start the washer and dryer after it's been turned on. All I had to do was add my washer and dryer to the Samsung SmartThings app by connecting the wifi which is conveniently located on the front of the product. I also like that all I have to do is turn the AI Smart Dial to select my washer and dryer settings. I can even turn on the drum light that stays on for a couple of minutes. The only thing I don't like is the normal setting does not have enough water for me, but when I used the heavy duty setting with some adjustments for temperature and soil level, then I'm able to get more water. For instance, the normal setting cycle is 45 minutes compared to the heavy duty cycle which is 1 hour and 59 minutes. Yes, it's a lot longer which I don't like, but with some adjustments I'm able to cut the time down to 1 hour and 43 minutes. It's still too long compared to the normal cycle, but if I want more water then so far that's one of the options I having to choose. I wish there was a better way. Even though this machine does not have the vibration reduction technology, it performs well without shaking. It's a very nice looking machine. I've always wanted a stacked dryer and washer.

At present and with our first experiences using the hub, we are completely satisfied. The ease of being able to switch between either washer or dryer controls is wonderful with the other keeping the place where you left off in the programming. Buttons are simple and the knob does the majority of the heavy lifting. Buttons are hidden when not in use and illuminated when available. It is a beautiful application using touch. The music at end of cycle is a nice little treat and as we have not chosen to customize, expect that we can change it to a little jingle that adds a little smile to our faces. For cleanliness and water efficiency, we are extremely satisfied. Our old washer and dryer were energy hogs where these are energy misers and water sippers. Looking forward to many more years of function and completely happy with the 20 year motor warranty. The build quality is solid and overall operations are quiet. We have yet to test with bulky items but with full loads, the washer and dryer are high performers! Would recommend to any and all in need of a space saving, high performing washier/dryer combo.

This dryer has a major AI flaw. It's default "eco"setting not drying AT ALL. It took me quite a while to figure out why after a full hour on maximum heat laundry is as damp as when was just removed from the washing machine. When paused in the middle of the cycle, turns out there us no heat. Clothes just spinning in the cold dryer. Sorry but running 3hr dry cycle for a single load of laundry IS NOT saving any energy and is only causing frustration. Worst of all, eco AI cannot be permanently disabled and needs to be manually turned off every single time (otherwise drying is only a waste of time and resources).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Washing Machine I got is amazing, it has loads of space and great features. First of all the fit and finish is great all around, it is stainless steel but I was really surprised is how Fingerprint Resistant it is. The Washing Machine looks clean even after a week and half of use. The installation was breeze, we just need to make sure that the water line is compatible with Washing Machine, mine was a standard water line and it perfectly well. Other than that it was just plugging into the outlet and we were all set! I love the connectivity of this, the smart thing app was a breeze to set up with a walkthrough of each setup of the process. The App has all of the features as at the standard control panel but it is a lot better because you have more space to read and toggle all our options. It show real time updates like how much laundry is remaining. Once it is done, it does give you a notification alert. I like the app over the control panel because you get select options like preventing winkles and so on, where as on the control panel it is probably nested somewhere. Coming to the washing machine itself it is quite good, it has all the great AI features, which it initially tests with a small load of water and adjusts accordingly for the wash cycle. My washing machine is about five years old and over that I see a notable difference in the washing quality. Whenever I use soft fabrics, my old machine would wash it too much giving kind of faded color, the samsung machine is great as it able to recognize it and adjust accordingly. It made my life so much easier as I don’t have to change the setting every time, I could just select Normal wash and the washing machine would handle the rest. Although, I didn’t test it enough, I feel like the washing machine has been using significantly less water. My only pet-peeve is I wish they made the control panel a little bigger as the current one has enough space for two line of text, so there isn’t a lot of information that could be fit in it. But the smart things app more than makes up for it. I also love the integration with other smart things, like it shows the wash time left on my fridge. Overall, I have been very pleased with washing machine and it is a good upgrade to anyone looking to use a smart and connected washing machine.
