I like to listen to music when running and I don’t like having earbuds way inside my ear because of comfort and wanting to hear what’s around me. I previously tried the shockz bone conduction and had to return because they immediately irritated the tops of my ears - I have small ears. When I saw they made an open version I immediately ordered and the fit is great! Nothing deep inside the ear, just lightly resting inside and over the ear. Sound is great and I can still hear everything around me. Best of all they’re comfortable. Great product!

I am a driver of motorcoachs. I love these. I can hear my group if they are talking to me. And I can listen to music with only one earbud in. Only thing is I do not like is having to pair them to my device ever time. Like I use them with my iPhone then I will switch to use them with my iPad. My AirPods that I used before would switch automatically but not my open fit Shokz.

Warning ⚠️: there is no volume control on these, they are not hands-free, you cannot make a phone call and adjust the volume without having the phone in your hands. For me this makes this product useless and day-to-day normal conditions. Do not buy these if you would like to be able to control the volume without the phone in your hands! I've owned the Aeroplex, Open Run, Open Run Pro, and the Open Com I. All were amazing in their own respect, and the new iterations all have pros and cons, some I still own multiples of, and rotate between different variations depending on use. I can recommend any product by Shokz with the exception of the new egregiously underdeveloped/engineered Open Fit.

I can barely feel these on my ears. I had my Aeropex on all day just before these arrived. I took those off, and I put these on - and they were so light. Paired immediately - beautiful sound. And, best of all, I can put my head all the way back. Even the mini was still too big for me. And, I can just use one for calls, if I want. I love these!

The sound is disappointing — mostly because the volume is insufficient for the distance from the speaker to the eardrum. The Openfit ear pieces work fine in very quiet settings without much distraction. However, if I use them for exercise in New York City’s neighborhoods, the sound is easily drowned out by the ambient noise of the streets. I somehow expected better; perhaps that’s not possible given the challenges of the technology. Also, I wear glasses when I run which do not sit well over my ears when the Openfit ear piece is resting over the my ears beneath my glasses.

Although the sound quality is nice and the fit is good, they are difficult to control while running compared to bone conducting models. They have also on three different occasions started to increase volume on their own. I’m not sure if they’re defective, but they are becoming frustrating to use in any situation where perspiration is involved.

I already had some AfterShokz headphones, but I bought the ones that are over the ear and not behind the head so that I could wear a beanie with them and still be able to hear what is going on around me. I’ve only worn them a couple of times and I haven’t got used to how to turn them off and on and make a phone call. they are not as easy to operate as the other ones that I have.

They are great earbuds. I bought a set for me and received a promotional carry case which was great. The set i just bought is a Christmas gift for her... guess what? They don't offer the carry case nor do they sell them. What a let down. The charging case is ok but if you have them with you all the time like we do... you need the protection of they carry case... come on Shokz... offer the case at least for sale... you offer them for your other lines but not your newest? I wanted to leave a 1 star review just for that... but the buds themselves are great so i cannot do that... 5 star buds... 1 star for the issue with no protection...

Comfort and sound are GREAT! One downside is the process of starting and stopping whatever you are listening to or answering a call. You almost have to BEAT a double tap on your ear. Could be a better system .. more sensitive or maybe a button? Overall - these have awesome sound, stay put, and very comfortable.
