Great sound, supremely comfortable but…

The open fit definitely sound better that any of the bone conduction models. That is a huge plus. As far as being situationally aware, yes you will most likely hear things around you, but you will be a little less situationally aware than with the bone conduction models, and that is ok because the sound is far better with the openfit model. They are super comfortable, barely know they are on and there is no discomfort from the ear hooks. All that said, the controls are the worst! Just adjusting the sets off the control very easily, and when you go to hit the control purposefully sometime it doesn’t respond. There is no volume control and that is a major problem for me. Having to pull my phone out or adjust from my Apple Watch using the crown takes me from being situationally aware to totally focused on my device during a ride which defeats the whole purpose of open ear headphones. The app could be better, hopefully they spend some time getting that right sooner rather than later. It needs a major overhaul. I like the true wireless because the is nothing behind my head which I turn there is nothing for my jacket to touch and effect the angle of the earphone itself or nothing to interfear with my helmet as well which was an issue with the bone conduction model aeropex and then the model that replaced the aeropex. So far battery life is good. i had run into issues with the aeropex and the aeropex replacement model where I couldn’t get but 2hrs. of use out of them after a while, while support and replacement was great, they only honor the warranty for one replacement and that was an issue as I had the same problem on all bone conduction models. I hope that they have a better battery. One issue is one ear draining before the other, but I guess that I to be expected since each ear has its own separate battery and every battery although technically they are the same size and model will be slightly different and will drain at different rates.

I really like these even

I really like these even though they aren’t bone conduction really.. the clarity is great, the sound quality is fantastic. The are very light and don’t hurt at all. The fitting is really good considering my ears are small. They don’t slide or fall off. The only thing I don’t particularly care for the touch button function but that could be user error more than the device’s themselves. But the even when the touch button function works there’s a delay when pausing or resuming music. But other than that little thing I think they are worth the time and money.

Incredibly Comfortable!

These have to be the most comfortable headphones I have ever tried. They are soft, lightweight and pliable, and the open air design allows me to hear everything going on around me, while the sound from the headphones is also extremely clear. I can move freely without any sign of them sliding out of place or falling off, so they are perfect for running, dancing, or just doing housework. Highly recommend!

Out of curiosity...

Initially, I was primarily just curious as to how they compare to the OpenRun Pro or Aeropex. After trying them on, I was highly impressed by the sound quality and bass it put out. I'm still getting use to the actuation of the button(s) but it is very responsive once you push it. Only thing that makes it a little hard to use is that there is no positive indication from the button that you actually pushed it until the device responds accordingly. Still getting use to it but I am really liking it.

Great, with a minor annoyance

They are great, with only a single issue. That issue is that the programmable controls do not allow for answering or hanging up phone calls. Sound quality is great, volume is much improved over the openrun pro, the equalizer is great. The controls are not easy to get used to, however once you manage, it's also great. Phone answering and hang up is something they can hopefully introduce as a firmware update sometime in the near future.

Perfect for DHOH

These are perfect for someone who is dead/hard of hearing BUT has the internal ear bones required for hearing. Since this product is made to conduct via your bones and not rely on your ear drums! We love these, always recommend. This was also recommended by the Kentucky Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

Openfit

I love the comfort (sometimes forget they are on) and the sound quality. My only complaint is they are difficult to use. Answering phone calls or ending phone calls are hard to do and I usually end up hanging up on the person or when I’m done with the call I can’t get it to hang up. Also trying to get my music to start or stop is hard. My husbands set instantly starts his music even if he’s trying to watch something and it doesn’t matter if the phone has been shut off and turned back on they instantly connect to his music over riding everything else.

Love them

I have used shokz for about 4 years now. I started using because of my piercing. I have always hoped they would come out with a prototype like ope fit because I like to lay down and scroll bit couldn't do that with the piece on the back. Now if you could make them where they could be used as a multipairing that would be wonderful. Overall 2 thumbs up Shokz is headed in the right direction. Oh yeah they are so lightweight that at times I have to touch my ear to make sure it's still there...crazy right!!!

What great earphones

I sometimes I even have these on my ears when I turn the music off they are so light. The sound is excellent. The charging case is fantastic and it always keeps the Shokz charged. My only complaint is the sometimes difficult way to answer a phone or turn the music off. You have to hit/rub the outside of the earpiece and sometimes it doesn’t work. The new Shokz now have a button that will make this easier I believe. Also, having to change the volume by going to your phone was a little annoying. This also is fixed in the new 2. 0 version I believe.

First time buying shokz!

Moving away from airpods with the hopes of a more comfortable earbud, and I'm very happy with the decision to try these! These fit snugly without falling out, and the sound quality is great. The open-ear concept keeps my ears from hurting after hours of listening
