Fit just isn't right

I want to love these so much but the left ear piece does not stay in my ear so I am constantly having to readjust it. I contacted Shokz and they said they are looking into different sizes. The right ear fits great so I do not believe it is a size issue. The angle of the left piece doesn't angle into the ear enough. I have to press it into my ear otherwise it is just hovering and barely touching my ear. The sound overall is great and the right ear piece is very comfortable.

OPEN FIT

I purchased the Open Fit. They don’t have the band behind the neck. I thought that would be great. It hasn’t been good. There isn’t a way to adjust the volume on the headphones themselves. Only via your phone. I loved my Open Run model because I need light sound, noise, audio books to help sleep. These turn off if you lay your head sideways. They are great if you are moving casually, but heavy exercise can make the headphones fall off the ear very easily. I was shoveling, and one fell off my ear. I recommend the Open Run, not the Open Fit.

Open-ear

A long time user of shocks. Open air are extremely comfortable. My two problems are 1) I cannot control volume without using my phone and 2) I have a problem activating the answer button on the ear bud. It seems too small. I can easily place a call using the open air, but if I answer the phone, I touching the phone on button I do not receive the call through the earbud. I will state that, at the age of 75, I am an older user; however, I do wish the button was a little bigger. Now that I own both styles, I can truthfully say, I love both. But, as a woman, I do not like the “headband “ around my hair.

I was really hoping that

I was really hoping that they would be more of a bone conduction headset like their other products as I LOVE my Open Moves. I find the over the ear a little uncomfortable, but they work simply great. I like them better than my BOSE set of the similar type. With how they are I would think they could design a pair like these that were not on the ear at all.

A bit disappointed

I really wanted to like these headphones, and went with these over the OpenRun Pros for a wireless options, but it didn't start off well. The volume would not increase so with the support team I was able to fix that. Unfortunately, on phone calls, it still sounded like I was really far away which I wasn't able to fix, and they ended up giving me a headache with how they sat on my ears. By the time I had tried them out, I missed the sale window and while they offered me free returns and a discount code with my next purchase, it didn't match the Mother's Day sale so now I can't go with the OpenRun Pros instead. A bit disappointed in the overall experience but it is what it is :(

These are horrible. No volume

These are horrible. No volume control is simply a huge fail. And in order to actually hear them over the slightest ambient background noises, the volume has to be turned way up. This sounds over driven at times and it runs down the battery much faster. Otherwise, these would be fantastic.

Honest Feedback on OpenFit - A Potential for Improvement

I recently purchased OpenFit headphones with high expectations, given my great experience with other Open products like OpenRun Pro and OpenSwim (Xtrainerz). While OpenFit shows potential, there are several areas that need improvement to match the quality of its siblings. One of the issues I encountered with OpenFit was the lack of feedback when using the button to skip tracks on the earpiece, especially on Android devices. Sometimes it works randomly, while at other times, it's unresponsive. It would be great to have a consistent and responsive button for a seamless music experience. Moreover, the headphones fail to provide low battery notifications, leading them to abruptly die. Unlike OpenRun Pro, which informs the user about the battery level upon turning them on, OpenFit leaves users in the dark about the battery status. This small but significant feature could greatly improve user experience and avoid sudden interruptions during workouts or daily activities. Another inconvenience was the lack of intuitive volume controls on the headphones. I struggled to locate them easily, making volume adjustments cumbersome. Having an easily accessible volume control is essential for any headphones, and this feature should be made more user-friendly. Pairing issues were also encountered, where connecting to a second device required manually disconnecting from the first one. This became a significant hassle, especially when the previously connected device was far away, leading to unnecessary searching and delays in switching between devices. An on-demand disconnect feature would greatly enhance the overall user experience. Additionally, the charging box seemed flimsy and produced an odd sound when closed, unlike other brands like Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and Pixel Buds, which offer a more solid and reassuring feel. Though it may not be a dealbreaker, attention to cosmetic details can significantly impact user satisfaction.

Could use updates/adjustments

The fit was rough. Are they supposed to go in your ear, sit on it, I don’t know anymore. The fit wasn’t good despite the pieces being small enough for my head! They sit on the part of my inner ear that causes pain. Imagine wearing your Apple headphones or any headphones for a long period of time, that’s how they felt on my inner ear after 20 min. I returned them the day after I got them. Very disappointed and instead ordered a new pair of the open run pro but minis instead. It’ll be interesting to see other versions come out to see what changes or updates are made. The sound was great when I held the headphones in place.

I absolutely love these!

I had to upgrade my phone and the newer phones no longer support jacks for earbuds. I purchased Shokz because the Bose earbuds I have (which sound great) hurt my ears even with the smallest ear buds. I needed something to replace my plugin earbuds and didn't need movie-quality sound since I use them mostly for phone calls. I tried the OpenRun model but didn't like the way they fit on me (I sometimes use them in bed and my pillow messed with the fit). I'm sure they would be awesome for runners! I returned those and purchased the OpenFit...WOW!!! THESE ARE GREAT! They fit great, don't hurt my ear canals and they are so light weight that I hardly know they are on. These are a game changer for me!

Openfit review change

I gave a great review at first but I've since changed. As I have been trying to to get these replaced for awhile. I contacted long time ago and they never got back with me. So im trying again. So im still having a charging issue. These open fit do not last with charge, as when you use only the right ear it dies way before left. It's dies very quickly. Sometimes I use just one. Also when do you plan on having other colors? Thats important. Also more bass? When will sound be better.Do you plan on adding lights or even a beep to find one if you drop one as it's hard to see if you drop one. I do not get them wet either. Hope to see something new soon.♡
