I have used TurboTax Biz for many years to prepare returns for a couple of Trusts. It always does a Great Job, and I have not been audited. My two complaints are: 1. Having to pay SO MUCH for the very simple features use for simple Trust returns. Simple Trust returns should be part of PREMIER, and 2. That it is only available for Windows. I'm a Mac user and have to buy additional virtual machine software to be able to TurboTax BIZ

The product purchase was straight forward given purchase in prior years. The software download was fairly quick. The prior year's tax data transferred perfectly. The questions were clear to enter the new year's data. The filing process worked well. The price was a bit high, more than other TT online options. I wonder why this product has not moved to the less expensive online format.

The US Federal Return was fine to file. The 2025 CA Form 100S was a major problem because the form was not available from the State of California until mid-February, one month in advance of the filing deadline. I could not access the form until Feb. 13, 2026. Turbo Tax claimed the CA return was filed correctly and accepted on Jan. 30, 2026. I asked their customer service team how this is possible when the CA form won't be available until mid-Feb, and they claimed it was because the data transmitted and the form's format was the only thing pending. I was able to download the CA forms I completed on Feb. 13, 2026. At this point, I have no idea if my business' CA state return was filed correctly. This software left a bad taste with me given I do not have confidence in Turbo Tax relative to the CA filing.

I have two significant challenges with the Turbo Tax for Business software: (1) Why can't Turbo Tax make the software work the same way the individual product works, i.e., download 1099s from bank and brokerage accounts and populate appropriate forms; and (2) It is crime that Turbo Tax does not make its business software for a Mac. Any family LLC or partnership needs to file a Form 1065 and cannot use Turbo Tax if they work in a Mac environment.

I generally like using Turbotax, but I feel that the Step-by-Step data entry method should be improved so that we aren't prompted to fill out missing information in the forms during the error check, often with no help from the program. The online help should be context sensitive, in my opinion, so we wouldn't have to do much searching.

This was my first time using Turbo Tax Business. I had to complete a 1041 for a trust. I ran into a hiccup with one of the fields and needed to call for assistance. The person on the phone was very helpful. She helped me get the last field completed so I could e-file my return. On a complaint side, I bought this with the understanding that I would be able to do a state return also. My state was not listed as one that could use Turbo Tax for a state return. So, in my opinion, I paid full price for something and got 50% of the product and I doubt I will be getting a partial refund. turbo Tax are you listening?

Product is very expensive and seems to have few glitches. I had to redo the return from scratch because it would not let me Transmit, becasue it was showing some phantom member forms. I spent couple of hours trying to find and remove the but they would come back every time. Once I created all new report I was able to transmit but now it only shows status of Federal report even though state was transmitted at the same time. Generally a bit dissapointed, it used to work much better. Not having a Mac version of the software is also and issue. As a Mac user I need to use another computer.

I struggled and spent about 2 hours to figure out how to file an amended return. Please try and make the filing of an amended return (especially to correct minor errors - mine was a clerical error - an extra zero in one place!) It should have been much easier

You have made the forms too complicated. If I make a change on one data input, it does not carry over to other fields where that data is required. Instead of making computations, you show a long list of items required and often tell the taxpayer to fill out the form and make the computations. Instead of giving directions or filling in data, you includes screens that tell the Taxpayer to pay extra for advice.

Interface and Support are great. !st time doing Corp taxes, but i have used Turbotax for personal for decades. Same intuitive interface. I did call Cust support, since it was my first Corp tax, for some guidance on completing some sections. The rep was patient and took time to walk me thru. Great experience.
