Income, deductions, etc all have their entry spots. A year to year detail is the Trust name in the Federal form is accepted, but the state (MD) form flags it in review every time ! Is it too long? all caps no good? Turbotax does not tell you what is wrong ! !

Need a better way to import assets instead of just one at a time. Bugs. M2 Distributions use last years values, not the newly imported data. Every year 1120 3-4 balance sheet is messed up in 10a and 10b when adding in section 179. Also intangible assets include in my liabilities. Line 13c.

It was too complicated for a simple tax return. First the software wasn't able to transfer the data from QB accounting software to Intuit Turbo Tax. Second, when I finished filing taxes, Turbo Tax didn't tell me clear instructions of what to do with the state return. I had to go back and figure out what to print!

As with every year, it did not carry over the correct previous year end retained earnings. Nor did it allow for Member contributions and distributions as set up in Quick books. I ended up netting the 2 accounts. For retained earnings, I just pushed the correct # from the prior year books from Quick books. I spent hours last year having TT try to get it right. Not going to do that this year. I will risk the audit and invest the time then and blame TT. My books are correct.

The instructions were thorough and the forms easy to complete. I would have awarded 5 stars except opening the form was not easy. When I clicked on the TurboTax Business 2024 application icon or the previously worked on tax return, I was taken to 2023 versions. I finally figured out how to open my 2024 file, but it should have been much easier.

I had extreme issues with Turbo Tax business working. I am guessing a possible incompatibility with windows updates? I used the program in March with no issues, but this week, had issues. Also, there were various forms not calculating formulas correctly as well as not carrying forward numbers. I had to manually adjust items for final return. They were simple things such as gross income, total assets, etc. I've been a turbo tax customer for years for my personal and business and have always had confidence in the product and returns produced until this year. It has been very frustrating and disappointing. It may have been more efficient for me to do the entire return manually as much troubleshooting and research I had to do to combat the issues. I am hoping a bug fix comes out soon as corporate taxes are due within the month.

Helps fill out the forms with greater accuracy, but doesn't provide adequate guidance for my return, and doesn't help with filling out oil and gas specific items on the return. For example, you're pretty much on your own figuring out where to report oil and gas depletion deductions, and handling the differences between book depletion and depletion deductions for tax purposes.

I worked for Intuit supporting the original version of QB DOS 1 and DOS 2, then Windows versions. I was there when TurboTax was acquired and have been an avid fan and user every year since. Unfortunately, this year the Business Version has not hit the mark and not even come close. 1: As a QB online user I am unable to import my data into Turbotax. (Okay, there is a work around but it took nearly two days, one full day was with Support Helping. 2: The rounding errors from Income & Expense amounted to about $5. This should be an automated fix with a couple of choices based on sound advice. 3: I paid my California $800 LLC tax online. It took hours to get past the downstream of this issue, 4: My partner and I work for the business along with 1 employee. When asked how many W2s we produced, I said 3, apparently the correct answer is 1. Add some explanation in the step-by-step. 5: When asked to insert income for Officers and income for Employees, the Previous years blank now showed the current Officers income while current year showed Total (Bug), 6: Final thoughts. This product needs major improvement or Customers will walk away.

I'VE BEEN USING FOR SEVERAL YRS NOW SO EACH YR GETS EASIER AS I REMEBER LITTLE TIPS FROM PRIOR YRS AND MY RETURNS GET LESS COMPLICATED. STILL GET CONFUSED ON SOME OF THE STATE STUFF AS TO WHAT GETS FILED AND WHAT DOESN'T AND SOMETIMES THE ERRORS TURBO TAX POINTS OUT ARE HARD TO FIX. I USUALLY HAVE TO GO TO GOOGLE TO GET HELP FIGURING IT OUT

I needed to amend my 2021 Business tax filing. For some unknown reason the 2021 TurboTax Business program disappeared from my computer. The TurboTax Live Experts were able to help me determine I no longer had it, and helped me to download it from TurboTax. The process was somewhat buggy, but the experts knew every turn and expertly guided me through the process. I am very appreciative and impressed with the experts. On a separate call, James, guided me through the IRS process for processing the amended tax return. High marks for TurboTax Live Experts!
