Bought this flat grill for a Father’s Day present...and could NOT be happier with our purchase!! My hubby has wanted one for well over a year, we did the research on all of them, and had our minds made up on one...when lo and behold...this one showed up at Sam’s!! And, it was $50 less than we anticipated!! It works like a dream, with all the bells and whistles wanted and needed! The only thing that would make it any better would be to make it FREE!!

I have been wanting a gas griddle for the longest but didn’t want to pay the name brand price tag. I was able to grab this one on sale for a great price and I absolutely love it!! I’ve already used it twice and the amount of space I have to cook is honestly amazing!What would take me 30-45 min on the stove can easily take me 10-15 min on the griddle now!! It was fairly easy to put together but I did assist my husband with the lifting and handing him the parts he needed. Cleaning is relatively easy, I love the shelves it has on the sides and bottom that allows for things to be placed while cooking. Just get the griddle!!

I have wanted a griddle for so long. And I was excited to see this one at Sam’s for only $200. So I saved up and then came to buy it for Christmas in early December, only to find that the price had increased $30. I would say that, for the money, it’s “not bad.” But I’m not really happy that I bought it. On the plus side, it is a griddle, and cooking food on it is good for the most part. I seasoned it well and the food tastes good that is cooked on it. Now for the NEGATIVES: First, this thing needs a metal cover that mounts on it. It comes with a CLOTH cover, which I though would be fine. However, one night when the temperature changed rapidly, the liquid in the grease catcher evaporated through the whole and STAINED the cover (see pic) and got on the griddle surface and caused it to RUST (see pic). I didn’t think that this was the type of surface that could do that… I cleaned it the best I could, but it doesn’t seem the same now, and I will have to season it again. Second, speaking of the grease catcher, it is DEAD CENTER of the cooking surface instead of being on the side like most other brands. It could not have been placed in a more inconvenient spot. I lose food in it all the time. I have since started placing one of those stainless-steel hamburger presses over the hole when I am cooking and move it when I need to drain some of the grease or clean the griddle when I’m through. Third, I have been assembling things like this since I was 12, and this thing was not very easy to assemble. The instructions could have been a bit clearer in a few instances. In addition, it was not manufactured with much care. Several of the holes do not line up as they should, making it imbalanced and lopsided. Fourth, speaking of manufacturing, several of the pieces, such as the tray surface were scratched at the factory and have now begun to rust (see pic). Fifth, the handles on the side are NOT stainless steel and are beginning to rust already (see pic). It’s not even two months old… Sixth, the knobs are not steel but cheap PLASTIC, and the shiny metallic paint coating is chipping off already due to the heat and it looks cheap (see pic). Seventh, another manufacturing blunder is that the label for one of the knobs is not centered (see pic). This is just a nuisance that bothers my OCD, but still… I expect better for $230. Honestly, if I could return this I would, but I think it’s too late, it’s too dang big (unless I go through the hassle of taking it back apart), and I don’t have the box anymore. I would suggest shelling out the extra $170 for the PRO model for $400. But then again, if it’s manufactured like THIS one, I would say to forget that as well. You could get another brand for just a little more.

Disappointed with the purchase, one of the grill top pegs was missing had to put an adjustable bolt in to take care of that, then a lot of the pre-drilled holes were very hard to get lined up. Would have returned it but had already discarded the box before we started to assemble it

Good quality cheap hardware. The screws are horrible and make assembly way harder than it has to be. The griddle is good and the quality is good but the treason i gave it three stars is because the hardware to assemble is so bad that it causes a struggle and issues during assembly. Also some of the angles are difficult to reach with regular tools. Overall the hardware killed the rating.

The front grease management on this griddle is better than the Blackstone with rear grease tray, and the heat distribution is great. The cart rolls easier than the Blackstone dues to better wheels, and the propane bracket is simple and great. My complaint is the giant stickers that were adhered to the side shelves. The stickers covered the entire surface of the shelve and applied with some type of glue that I cannot figure out how to clean up. I've tried heat, mineral spirits, and 99% alcohol (which turned it to a goo that was even harder to deal with). So the side shelves are covered with this sticky, gummy glue substance, making them unusable. I've seen a couple other reviews with comments on the glue also, and should have paid attention to those reviews.

The burner surface is not level on the one that we bought. It causes the oil to run toward the middle. Also, the cover does not adequately protect the grill surface from the weather if you have it outside. One gust of wind and the cover folds back, allowing rain to flood the surface. Overall, we were not satisfied with this griddle.

Very nice

Have owned for several months. Assembly easy enough. Have not had issues with build quality. It's an exceptional grill except for the following reasons...Hotspots! it really doesn't cook on the front 1/3 of the grill. Back 2/3 will get ripping hot, so if loading it up, be prepared to do some rotating and moving around. Has no problem getting hot. Grease trap is a little small, but that's ok. Just keep an eye on it. Cover that the grill comes with wears out quickly! Not water resistant or able to keep water from pooling on the flat top. Plan accordingly. Swivel casters do not swivel. Extremely frustrating design putting the heavy tank over the swivels and not the stationary wheels. I have contacted for replacement but I doubt that solves the problem at all. Overall it holds up well. Seasoning was easy and the top holds up very well. Have cooked well over 50 times on it and it is durable and cleans up well. Bought it at the super low sale price and for that money I would buy it again and again. Will be buying a hard top and high quality cover for it sooner than later.
