The price on this griddle is just right but there are a few reasons I only give it 3 stars. Firstly, it lights inconsistently. Sometimes it lights first try, sometimes I give up after several attempts. It's gotten to the point where I currently light it manually through the hole in the side. I have purchased a battery operated igniter that I will use to replace the vastly inferior igniter it shipped with. The handles are flimsy. There were giant stickers on the shelves which had to be removed. It gets quite hot in the back as compared to the front. So it has seasoned quite nicely for the back 75% but the front 25% isn't seasoning as well. Time will tell. By the time I purchased the igniter and a hard cover I practically could have bought a Blackstone.

I love this grill, perfect size works well with a couple of small issues is why I am not giving it 5 stars. First off, thank you to the designers for using the same size screws even though in a few spots, I wish they had used longer screws. Especially the side trays keep getting loosened after a while. Love the extra storage shelf. I wish the side trays were foldable but not a big deal especially considering the price. The BIGGEST issue I have is with the loation of grease catcher. It is in a very bad location which means I have to be extra careful when using the entire grill surface cooking stir fry or the likes. It is very easy to drop pieces of food in the hole, I wish it was closer to the top or bottom rail. Also, what is up with the small size of back/side rails? Another concern, for whatever reason, the top two thirds or the grill heats up very nicely but the bottom does not. I have yet to figure out why that is. I cannot believe that is by design because I end up losing a third of the grill surface due to a lack of enough heat. Finally, I wish there was some method of marking temperature on the knobs or a built in (or separate) thermometer to get an idea of the surface temperature for cooking different foods. But obviously this is not a deal breaker. Despite the many seeming complaints, and for the price and function I would still very highly recommend this grill.

Great griddle works perfectly having the grease in the middle of cooktop instead of the rear is a game changer. As with all griddles there are a few hot and cold spots but this is common across every gas griddle on the market. Only real negative I have found is the cover it blows off easy with light to moderate wind exposing cooktop to rain and the elements.

Great product for the money. We use it a lot but have a few things that we wished were different. 1) The griddle needs to be thicker to prevent "bowing" when it gets hot so liquid stays in place. 2) I wish the side tables folded down. We didn't have enough room so we didn't install one shelf. 3) I wish the cover went to the ground (or at least covered the bottom shelf and gas tank) so the items down there don't get dusty and the propane wasn't out in the sun. Overall, we are happy with our purchase.

We were looking at getting a Blackstone because they're absolutely everywhere right now, but my husband came across this Member's Mark version and it was $70 less. We went over to Sams and looked at it and ended up buying it. I seasoned it right after we put it together and we cooked on it the very next night. I now cook dinner on this griddle several nights a week and it generally takes about 15 minutes to cook just about anything: Philly cheesesteaks, Japanese stir-fry, burgers, and breakfast takes all of five minutes. Clean up is so easy - no pots, no pans just scrape everything into the grease hole and wipe it down with a little oil and it's done. It's very sturdy and works beautifully every time we turn it on. I highly recommend.

My Wife and I purchased this griddle for the homeless shelter in Phoenix since they were using charcoal and it wasn’t really doing what they needed done,This griddle opened the door for hamburgers,hot dogs,bacon and eggs,pancakes and much more.These people needed this to get alittle happiness in their life

This is the “do all” way to cook outside. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Just be careful, high is hot. Leave it on low to safe gas and not burn food. Seared some filet mignon for two minutes on low on each side (used butter instead of oil) last night and it was perfection. Before you use it, make sure you read the instructions and season it with oil then google “hibachi accessories” to get the long spatulas, squirt bottles for water and oil, lid cover for steaming and the press and your all set. You don’t really need those items but my wife and I love this thing and we’re all in. I don’t even use my old grill anymore. Think about this, restaurants use flat tops for most of their cooking.

I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I want to share my thoughts and experience. This is at least my third griddle purchase as I have one at home, the river house, on the pontoon, etc. This is by far my favorite model! This was appx $50 less expensive than its competitor and came with a cover which was very nice and unexpected. The assembly was very straightforward and I did 99% by myself until I needed 2 hands for just a couple of mins (and I have zero patience for this kind of stuff)! I loved that all the screws matched/you didn’t have 10,000 diff pieces of hardware you were trying to manage. The grease trap is the best design on the market! I will never go back to Blackstone and so far I could not be more pleased w this purchase!

This is just what we needed ! We love it works great. We cooked a ton of pancakes eggs and bacon was amazing second time we cooked French toast eggs and bacon each time was for about 15 people . We did notice an area where it cooks faster than another area “hot spot” I’m fine with it now I know where it is .. We have used it twice so far And after the second time we used it we shut it off turned it back on and the burners weren’t turning on I’m not sure what the issue was . We thought it was the regulator piece it wasn’t catching the others on fire it was a small small flame, but then I turned it on about 15 min later and they all went on . We just filled up our propane so we knew we weren’t out of it . Not sure what happened . I really like the fact it came with a cover we didn’t have to purchase one .We can’t wait to continue our weekly meals for everyone.

Easy to assemble, yet product quality is lacking, tremendously. Once assembled, cleaned, and ready to season, I begin seasoning the top. While the flat top is heating, I watch the center of the flat top start caving in. All of my oil ran to the center where there is now a dip in the flat top. It's not so bad that I cant use it, but it's no longer a flat top. Now when scraping it clean with the provided scraper, it leaves that caved area for additional cleaning. You could literally see it caving as it was heating up. The metal is too soft and shouldn't have caved as it did. I think I will stick with a Blackstone.
