[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never really thought that much about my toilet paper, I knew not to buy the cheap store brand but other than that I didn't think it mattered that much but my husband has always been a toilet paper snob. A die-hard Cottonelle guy. So that's what I usually purchase for our household. When Charmin gave me the opportunity to try their Charmin Ultra Soft for free I thought - "Why Not?" but I did not expect it turn ME into a toilet paper snob! It is so soft and cushy! and while I expected it to be soft (hence the name) I was VERY pleasantly surprised to find that while it is 'super soft' it was also thick and strong! Doing just a simple tear-test compared to our Cottonelle showed how much stronger it was! Because of this it is also lasting us longer. I'm like the mom on the Charmin commercials showing my toddler to use less - haha. My husband said (before trying Charmin Super Soft) If its too soft there is no way it would get the job done but less than a roll in he admitted it... I was right...You CAN have soft and heavy-"duty" ;) I have even seen him using our Charmin in place of our Kleenex tissues for his cold-plagued nose. He has officially approved the permanent switch. Cottonelle out! Charmin Super Soft IN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want soft toilet paper! I want it to be strong too, but soft is my top priority. I've been a Northern Ultra Plush toilet paper user for years. Since I'm the type person who typically sticks with it when I find something I like, I wouldn't even consider trying anything else. But then I received a free sample of Charmin Ultra Soft. So -- since it was free, I tried it. I found that I like it better than the Northern Ultra Plush. It's softer, it's stronger, and it doesn't leave 'lint' behind. I alternated between Charmin Ultra Soft and Northern Ultra once -- just to make sure. Then I switched to Charmin and haven't looked back!

The three us have a pack not to let our husbands shop for toilet paper due to past experience. They choose the cheapest and largest package. I was very excited to receive the four roll pack in the mail from Charmin. I changed out the roll that was in the bathroom to begin the testing. Once again Charmin has hit a jackpot with their product. It is soft, sturdy, and no need to use over five squares. My husband was able to tell the difference. I'm on a tight budget.I actually like Scott. When I buy,I buy whichever will last longer. With the Charmin,It seems like,I'd always have to have money on hand to buy more. Charmin is for people who are well off with money. It coats more than my usual brand. I really appreciate trying Charmin and allowing me to make my review for the brand. I'll do a lot more reviews too. I really enjoyed the opportunity.

Well, howdy, was I shocked when I opened the package of Charmin Ultra Soft Mega Rolls that I received for free from Charmin. The first word that came to my mind was "luxurious", a word that I never expected to use in reference to toilet paper. Thanks to the quality, you need to use less toilet paper per bathroom experience. And mega rolls (4 rolls in one), means you have to change the rolls less frequently. Charmin Ultra Soft is far and away the most luxurious toilet paper I have ever used. Soft and strong for sure! Every time I use it, I marvel at the softness. This toilet paper is outstanding! Go ahead, America, pamper your butts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried Charmin Ultra Soft several times and every time I am not disappointed. It is the softest and most durable toilet paper I have ever tried. Since trying Charmin Ultra Soft, I have not switched toilet paper brands.

I have been buying Charmin for years and recently purchased the Ultra Soft toilet paper.  The paper is very soft but does not tear properly with the scalloped edge. It tears about the scallop and gives me more than I wanted. Plus the edge is all raggedy. Not happy with this product.

So far my family of 4 is still on the same roll, which for about 4 days is amazing! So far the product is great. It is super soft and does not rip or fall apart when using it. It almost feels like a piece of cloth rather than a paper product. It also does not leave a funky smell on your hands which I have noticed with other products in the past. I would definitely purchase this product in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample pack of Charmin Ultra Soft from the manufacturer. I was NEVER a lover of Charmin and was skeptical about trying it. Boy was I ever wrong !!! It is the softest toilet paper I have ever tried. It was like mush on my tush. It made going to the bathroom much more pleasurable. Not only that but, the mega rolls are a pleasure. No need to change rolls as often as I was doing with my old brand. My hubby is a creature of habit and he refused to try anything except his "favorite brand". With a little coaxing, he did try it and he too was delighted at how wonderful and soft Charmin Ultra Soft was. He asked me to "only buy this brand from now on". It won us both over. We are believers !! Sometimes people have certain ideas in their head about certain products/brands. I guess we learned a great lesson that one should at least give other brands a try before making decisions. A neighbor came over and I said I know this is a weird question, but what brand of toilet tissue do you use. When she told me, I said "You have to try Charmin Ultra Soft, you will be amazed how terrific it is". I gave her a roll and the next day she called to thank me. She said if it weren't for me, she would NEVER have tried it. More satisfied users !!

How have you changed the paper you use? I have purchased your brand for decades, but I am ready to switch to your leading competitor. The old straight line tore off perfectly. I bought a huge package this fall and none of the rolls had a perforated line at all - not straight or wavy! It looked terrible! When we finally got through all those rolls, I tried again. This package has the wavy - some lines are clear and tear off neatly and others are a mess. Is this a result of making the paper too soft? Please bring back the straight lines which tear off neatly and look good. This is not an improvement!! You had a GREAT product then someone got a bright idea and ruined it!
