It's cheap and easy on our plumbing (less toilet clogs). But, because it's thin, we also go through it like crazy (literally...if you know what I mean). That said, I couldn't believe that our four rolls of Charmin lasted longer than our 8 double rolls of Angel Soft! It's thick, so we use less and it is ohhh sooo SOFT. While it does cost more up front, it also lasts longer, making it a much better value. If you haven't yet, switch to Charmin. Your bum will thank you.

Ever since my husband retired, I have noticed we go through toilet paper as if it were water. Either our waste basket is full of empty toilet paper rolls or I am always having to change the empty roll. Since we started using Charmin Ultra Soft I noticed we are using fewer rolls of toilet paper. In addition, Charmin Ultra Soft is soft but sturdy--I like that most of all!

We've used Ultra Strong for over a decade, and I thought we'd give Ultra Soft a whirl. BIG mistake! It's so soft it rips (which especially sucks when trying to teach little ones to wipe their own butts), and everytime I use it, I have to dust the lint off my rear end. If you want to sweep fluffy stuff of your bathroom surfaces, go ahead and buy this, but I say it's not worth it - the Ultra Strong is plenty soft enough! I've never thought it was rough.

I put it on the toilet paper holder without telling my husband and he could tell a difference. Because the roll is so big you don't have to change it as often, and that's a great thing! The day arrived and I could not wait to open my package - I mean who doesn't love a good TP? I scoured the packaging to make sure I had all the vital details. The first thing I noticed was that this TP is Clog Safe and Septic Safe - this is great news since I have two little ones at home who throughly enjoy using LOTS of TP. I switched out the rolls in each of our bathrooms with the Charmin Ultra Soft and everyone in my house is a fan. This toilet paper is very soft to the touch but also quite strong. We used this toilet paper for runny noses and there was almost no irritation; which is a shock considering it is toilet paper! I also used the Charmin Ultra Soft to help set my lipstick. It's quite a versitle product and I was impressed on all accounts. We are not quite done with the sample package, but when we are I will make sure to update my review and share any new uses we come up with. First Impression - This is some darn good TP!

Being on a septic system, I worry sometimes about the thicker paper, but this one is great and breaks up easily. I would definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I started using Charmin Ultra Soft, I was curious how much longer it would last compared to the generic brand our family usually uses. With a family of 6, I feel like we go through a ton of toilet paper! I put a roll on the holder on Thursday afternoon in my husband and I's bathroom where we normally have to replace the roll every 3-4 days. I didn't have to start a new roll for a whole 9 days! I loved that! The only downside to this toilet paper (which may not be a problem for most people) is that we have very sensitive toilets and I don't know how many times we had to get out the ol' plunger. Less is truly more with this toilet paper. And if you choose to make the switch, make sure to give your kids a lesson in how much to use each time. When they're used to using the cheap stuff, the thick, soft Charmin means you don't need nearly as much.
