In terms of it's "Mega" roll size; it is the same in diameter as the Kirkland (Costco) roll , yet 1/2 inch shorter, so you are getting less. I have not compared, but I believe that Charmin is also more expensive than the Costco brand. If you are lookingin terms of just "softness" Charmin wins!!

However, I would have purchased this item anyways. When you need a toilet paper that is soft but durable, this is your go-to product! I use fewer squares than with the bargain brand toilet paper, and it feels better on my bum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to try and I really liked it. I typically purchase really inexpensive toilet paper, so this was a real treat for me. What I really liked most is that right off the bat you could tell that it was strong paper by just touching it. When I used the toilet paper, it didn't break, which is what I usually encounter with the cheaper brands I use. It also was extremely soft and as a woman who drinks a lot of water and has to use the restroom a dozen times in two hours, I felt that was extremely important! The double rolls would make it last longer, which could save on cost. I would definitely lean towards replacing my current toilet paper with Charmin if I had coupons to bring the cost down.

I change paper rolls about once a day and with Charmin Mega rolls I think I change it every 3 to 4 days. I can't believe how big these are and how soft it is. Proctor and Gamble, has reduced the size of their Charmin Ultra Soft toilet tissue in three ways. Each roll has been reduced by 12 sheets, the paper is thinner and 1/3 of an inch less in width. At this rate, they’ll be selling us postage stamps as toilet tissue next year. I noticed the difference on my last purchase and now Consumer Reports has selected White Cloud as their best choice. I intend to boycott all P&G products and hopefully impact their earnings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can you say about TP? Except so many leaves you raw and irritated with little bits of paper sticking where paper should not be. Well I have to say my bum is happy and so am I. This new Charmin Ultra Soft is the best paper I have ever used. I am a Charmin lover to start with. This new Charmin is better than any of the others. The moisture barrier is wonderful! The cleaning power is beyond compare and I use half of the paper I use to use. The only complaint I have is it is so big and fluffy that it hardly fits on the toilet paper holder making it hard to start the roll. But that is a minor irritant for me but not sure others would agree. I have noticed we are not changing our rolls nearly as often as we were. Go Charmin you are even more squeezable delicious!

And you are left feeling clean. It works that good! I always stock up on this when I go shopping. I highly recommend it to my family and all my friends.
