Let me tell you, I'm big on saving money when it comes to shopping for food and toiletries so I usually just buy whatever is on sale. I've been missing out all along by buying the cheap stuff. This toilet paper really is so much better- it's so soft and thick so you don't need much. I even used it to blow my nose and remove my eye makeup and I had no irritation. I'll definitely be using this toilet paper moving forward!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I started potty training my 1yr old I was buying Scott toilet paper. That is until he wanted to be a big boy and go potty by himself. Lets just say he overused the toilet paper. Later that day he kept complaining that his butt hurt. (light bulb "Charmin") Charmin Rg didn't work for me. I've been able to try Charmin Ultra soft and the things I didn't like about Charmin Rg ( ex: The ridges from pattern were too close together causing rips and tares) were fixed. My little one goes by himself without clogging my toilet and there hasn't been another Ouch! report.

Sounds so silly to say being excited about trying toilet paper.I am a person who buys the cheapest toilet toilet paper no matter what it is. NEVER AGAIN! Charmin ultra soft toilet paper is great in so many ways....big rolls that last longer, pretty print,2 ply, and soft. I am only buying Charmin ultra soft!

I love this Charmin Ultra Soft and have already purchased a larhe pack, but I still have a few rolls of the old stuff left so I've been leaving that out and pulling out the Charmin for myself. I know this seems selfish, but I just love having a secret luxury to myself for a little while! It is totally worth the switch. I don't ever want to go back!

We have been using this product for years and suddenly our last package was noticeably lower quality. It honestly feels like gas station toilet paper. I have never wanted to shop around for toilet paper before but I will not be purchasing this product any more if you don't return to the prior product quality.

I have used Charmin Blue for years and years. This last winter, we were in Arizona - - - bought some Charmin Blue - - - I thought my husband had picked out the wrong toilet paper. It was so small, I couldn't believe it! Now back in Minnesota, I am using my "old" Charmin, only to find out that every roll is the same small size. Previously, I would rate Charmin Blue at a 5-star, but in my mind, you have really slipped. Thank you for listening - - - I want my old Charmin back!

Charmin is the no 1 paper to use. I am 55 and have been using it for as long as I remember. My parents and 9 siblings have always used charmin. The only difference now is there are more Charmin varieties to select from. Do you remember: Don't squeeze the Charmin. with the store clerk chasing off the customers who tried to secretly squeeze the Charmin.

I can purchase it in large packs and it lasts quite a long time for my family of 6. Scott is really what I would consider a 'functional' toilet paper. It's not overly fluffy and does the job. When I visit other people's houses I always find the toilet paper to be overly soft, to thick and not cleaning my bum like the Scott. I've seen the commercials for Charmin and about it's cleaning and softness. In my world a super soft toilet paper will NOT clean. I was also extremely skeptical about it not leaving a residue behind (yes...pun intended). I normally wouldn't buy Charmin but with a free pack to try from the company I had nothing to lose. First the good: - The rolls are HUGE so you feel like you're getting a good value and that the roll, once put on will last a long time. - It's a very strong toilet paper. It was a change to get used to the amount I needed to use vs. the Scott. I needed to use less Charmin than my typical toilet paper. - Yup, no residue. Color me surprised! - Soft and the bum. Now the not so good: - Despite the big roll, (I think it's big because of it's thickness) we still went through it much faster than the Scott. We are a family of 6 and while my husband and I know to scale back and not use a lot, kids just don't have that type of self control. The toilet paper goes MUCH quicker with Charmin than Scott which ultimately means I'd have to purchase more. - We have a double toilet paper holder. The large rolls are so large I can't put 2 up at a time. - I always associate the soft toilet paper with old people / elderly and it makes me feel old...next thing I know I'll have a clear glass dish in my bathroom filled with a variety of small funky shaped soaps. Bottom line - I was impressed honestly. I had some preconceptions of Charmin and it did indeed break me of those. If I wasn't a family of 6 I would consider switching depending on price. However, the fact is that we are a family of 6 and are looking for the most economical toilet paper, not the softest on the bum. If I needed a smaller pack or the store was out of my Scott I would buy Charmin without hesitation. One day when I buy so much novelty soap I need to display it in my bathroom I'm likely to switch to Charmin but today is not that day.

Have tried many others, but keep coming back to Charmin Ultra Strong for it's durability and lack of "fuzz". However, disappointed that rolls have suddenly shrunk in width!! Almost doesn't cover the palm of my hand anymore. Please bring back the wider sheets. Thanks!!
