[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since Mr. Wimple squeezed the Charmin on TV commercials in the early 60s, Charmin has always been the softest toilet tissue ever! I liked Mr. Wimple's ads better than the cartoon bears today, but the truth is Charmin is unsurpassed in quality, softness and strength. The Ultra Soft Mega Roll is unbelievably an improvement on the Charmin of the 60s. When I received my sample from Charmin, the first thing I used it for was my nose. It was (is and always will be) softer and thicker than any facial tissue out there. Charmin always has been, still is, and always will be my favorite! And that's no bologna!! :)

Charmin was kind enough to send a 4 pk of the mega rolls for my review, and I'm very happy with it. It doesn't tear like the bargain brands. And these huge mega rolls last forever! The downfall is the roll doesn't fit on my holder right out of the package, and has to sit on the counter until enough of it is used that it will fit. But that's a minor detail. The best thing about Charmin Ultra Soft is you can use less of the product each time with much better results than other brands.

In the last few months the quality of soft mega rolls has decreased significantly. The sheets are thinner, shred easily and are less absorbent. The texture is rougher/scratchier . The sheets feel more like a low end brand. The diverting of attention by guaranteeing that the rolls will fit is stupid. Most of us who use the mega rolls have long ago used the the converter originally provided or bought one. Need to go back to original quality. Your commercial no longer describe the product that's being sold.

I have to admit I'm usually a cheap tp kinda gal (still has to be 2ply but still cheap) but I really like this. And doing the math this is actually just as cheap as my cheap brand due to the fact that this roll is so thick and long!! It's more than double the size of my normal roll. And much thicker and softer. So yes you are paying more but you are getting more!! So in the end (no pun intended) this is actually the best bang for your buck. Even my 4 year old commented on how much better this was that what we had prior haha!

I agree with Lidia from prior review! PLEASE label it so we can stop running around searching for it! I feel like the perforations were much better with the wave cut anyway! Makes me feel like I'm in a fancy hotel bathroom! C'mon, my dang husband forgot which store it was that he bought it from & now I've been searching, fruitlessly! Feel like when we had to search for TP during Covid! Lol!! Help a Gal out Charmin!

So. Much. Lint. I’ve been using this product for a few years and recently even just blowing my nose leaves so much lint all over my face, let alone using it after using the restroom. Even just ripping some off creates a storm of lint particles in the air. Also, I’m going through mega roll packages much faster than I used to, and nothing has changed on my end. This has been an ongoing thing for a few months so it’s not a one-off. This product used to be great so it’s sad to see the quality has gone down.

But this one is truly the best I have used from this brand. Strong but soft, and the roll is huge, it almost does not fit on my holder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We normally buy Charmin Basic toilet paper so we were excited to try the Ultra Soft. I must say this toilet paper is so soft it almost makes me feel guilty using it to wipe with. It is like using 2000 thread count Egyptian cotton as toilet paper. The kids don't even have to be told to use less it is so thick. A few squares is plenty. Normally we have stopped up toilets from them using too much but not with Charmin Ultra Soft! The best thing is it is septic system safe also. This is a big hit at our house we are totally hooked and will be looking for Charmin Ultra Soft when shopping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is some soft TP! Normally I wouldn't think to buy this because "Ultra Soft" leads one to believe that is is too thick for a septic system. Not true! Somehow it is both comfy soft and thin, which does not make sense...however, it is some miracle of toilet paper science. My butt enjoys comfiness, and this makes me happy. Also I hate small rolls because it seems you are constantly changing them. These are nice and big so they will last awhile. I am not used to writing about the emotions of my buttocks, so forgive me. However, it is necessary to let you know that this is some great TP folks!
