My family really likes the ultra soft because it really is the softest toilet paper we have used. The double roll size is also really nice because we don't have to change the roll as often. The only thing I haven't liked about this tp is that it gives off a little bit of lint. There isn't as much as I've seen other soft tps leave behind, but there is a little bit. I just have to wipe the wall down periodically, which is no big deal. That's the only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five. But we will definitely be purchasing this tp in the future.

It's really not hard to distinguish the paid reviews from real customer reviews. Charmin has been in the house continuously for decades since the wedding. His job is to keep the toilet seat down, and my job is to supply the Charmin. Yes, Charmin brand. I've been buying the Ultra Soft blue package for years. Within the past year, the roll width has become shorter. Not pleased, but fairly tolerable. The inside plies wrapped next to the cardboard middle is wadded and trashier to make the roll seam cushier. Yes, I see through that, too. My biggest beef is ply taring. Not sure if the Ultra Strong does the same thing, but I can't seem to be able to tear off a ply cleanly at least 75-percent of the time. And, I'm being optimistically generous with the percentage. There's a jagged rip here and there. And then, there's the miracle strip. You know, you pull at the ply and you come up with an 8-inch to 15-inch long confetti string. To production control -- come on guys, let's get it together. No woman in her right mind would approve of, or use such shoddy toilet tissue. It's time to get women in the boardroom and in quality control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra soft is as soft as a baby's bum! The texture is different from others we have tried, and we have tried a lot of other tissues. We found we are using less, and with the Mega Roll, TP should last a lot longer in this house. And for softness, best we have ever felt. Between the texture and softness, we are sold. The Mega Roll a real plus also. Was afraid they wouldn't fit in my TP storage holder, but they did. Another plus. Charmin Ulta Soft will always be served at our house.

Ok, so I've been complaining to my husband for many months now about how Charmin has changed and not for the better. I finally took the time today to Google it to see if it was just my imagination. Based on all the negative comments I see, obviously NOT!! I am 60 years old and grew up with Charmin and Mr. Whipple. My mother was loyal and so have I been. But suddenly, the rolls are narrow AND two people are going through a roll a day. In this day and age, we are all busy. So we don't need to have to be adding just one more thing to our daily "to do" lists. AND, we need coverage. I would never have thought about changing from Charmin, but I'm going to start looking at the competitors. BRING BACK the old Charmin. I'd rather pay more and maintain product quality. Consumers are not blind and stupid!!! Very disappointed, but judging from all the negative comments, I doubt my review will do anything other than make me feel better for having been able to vent. :o(

Let me tell you, I'm big on saving money when it comes to shopping for food and toiletries so I usually just buy whatever is on sale. I've been missing out all along by buying the cheap stuff. This toilet paper really is so much better- it's so soft and thick so you don't need much. I even used it to blow my nose and remove my eye makeup and I had no irritation. I'll definitely be using this toilet paper moving forward!

We can no longer purchase Charmin because their smallest rolls are too big for our TP holder. Also, because the Mega Rolls are rolled tighter, they're not as soft as the Double Rolls. If you want our business back (we'd been buying Charmin for 20+ years), please bring back the Double Rolls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bathroom tissue I received from Charmin is the best paper I've ever used! When Charmin says 'Ultra Soft' they aren't kidding! This is the softest paper I've ever felt. It doesn't even feel like paper. It feels like soft, soft fabric, and it's thick and plush. I used half the normal amount of my regular bathroom tissue and it was plenty. If you ever get a cold, you'll want to toss the tissues to the side and use Charmin Ultra Soft on your nose! That's how good it is! Once you try it, you'll never go back!

Even though, it is named Charmin Ultra Soft, it works like it should be called Charmin Ultra Strong. But it is soft and that is always an important feature with toilet paper. Also it is priced appropriately and it is available most places.

I have been testing this out instead of my regular TP and it is so soft but not so soft that it will rip apart. It is gentle on the skin and i've used it for my nose as well and i love that it doesn't hurt or scratch my nose like other harsh TP may be. I'm very impressed with Charmin.
