[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M and LOVE it! I mail a lot of packages daily, and this shipping packaging tape with the dispenser is a dream..... it is so easy to use, and the tape does a fantastic job of holding my boxes together!!!!

I had a little difficulty figuring out how to work the dispenser but after I learned the device was very easy to use. The tape itself is very sturdy and sticky. Some of the boxes that I sealed were a little damp from the rain and the tape held excellently. I will definitely buy this product as it met all of the criteria I look for when planning to seal and send packages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M. We decided to use this tape to make a cardboard castle. Since it was heavy duty, we thought it would hold up better than normal tape against the hustle and bustle of a busy castle. So far, the castle is still in one piece,and the tape is still securely in place. The tape does feel slightly thicker than regular packaging tape. Overall, we are pleased with this product.

Doesn't get too caught up on the tape cutter piece and seems to do a good job sealing boxes without lifting around the corners. I did not receive any negative feedback on the couple of packages I sent in terms of poor packaging or things came undone. Only wish this was a bit bigger to handle more tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We do bag projects where we take paper bags and create educational projects out of them. I love the Scotch High Performance Packaging Tape because it is easy to use and it lasts. It holds up well against 3rd graders. And that is a big job!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product to evaluate for free from 3M. I actually have an older model that I use all the time and both models seem to be the same style so I can attest to its durability but there are things that can make it better. The cardboard piece that covers the blade can not easily be removed (see picture), sure the flap piece comes off but the part behind the blade does not slide out once the flap is off. This can interfere with getting a clean cut of the tape, I'll probably have to use scissors to carefully cut it out but it could be easily fixed by having the holes align with the part that is ripped off so that it slides out on its own without risk of injury. Additionally when the roll was still full, it would sometimes get stuck and not rotate easily, I couldn't actually find the sticking point and it doesn't happen on my older one when I put in a new roll or now that I have used several layers on the new one. The tape itself also doesn't unroll smoothly but instead sort of jerks out in segments. Finally the inner latch that you use to replace rolls could be designed better, it doesn't always stay closed. In fact on the older model, I just use a piece of tape to keep it closed but again the design could be improved to keep them shut. As to where I use this product, I send baked goods to deployed soldiers every week so use these packaging dispensers to seal the boxes and apply the mailing labels to the box. These boxes are tossed around a lot during their journey overseas so need to be taped securely. I have been sending these boxes for almost 5 years and have sent almost 350 boxes so the dispensers and tape do work but could be improved with my suggestions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this packing tape on some flat rate boxes being send to my family overseas 4000 miles away. The tape was easy to apply with the provided dispenser and worked well with no problem on my shipment. We tend to pack as much as possible in the flat rate boxes and often I need to use several strips of tape just to hold the flaps of the carton down so I can seal the center where the flaps meet. This tape worked out perfectly for this!

Sticks fast and I have never had a problem with postage labels ever coming off of my packages on route to its destination. Very dependable. I have tried others and this Scotch brand is the BEST. I won't switch to any other.

I've found it very easy to use and felt like my packages were very secure. I like that it is clear and I can use it protect a written address. I'm sure I'll find it very useful in the future.
