Great base layer choice

Wear these under my work pants. Keeps my legs warm outside but not too warm inside. Really comfortable

good value

Pros: retain heat, comfortable, flexible, reasonably priced. Cons: due to the nature of the material wanting to compress the bottom of the legs can ride up sometimes.

Great, with one exception

arm, feel great, keeps winter away. But, the stride, crotch, whatever you want to call it, is made too short. Wearing them makes you feel like the back side is pulling away from the waist, or, your pants are falling down in the back. I am used to government surplus base layer, made to be comfortable in all conditions. These are not the same

Good for people with short inseam

The XL bottoms are way too short in length. I wear a 32" Inseam and they will not make it up over my butt. The XL relates only to waist and hip sizing IMOO. If you have a 30" or less inseam they would work. Perhaps a small framed person with a 32" inseam could hike them up high enough to cover up. 2" of material and I would buy 4 packs of these every year, such a shame.

Forget women's running tights. Tall gals rejoice!

AMAZING DEAL! Tall ladies rejoice! I'm a 5'10" woman with short torso and a drafty house, lol. I love my Avalanche fleece lined thick nylon pants, but needed a'base layer for sleep. Got much more than that for 2/$15?! Got S Black and these surpass overpriced thermal running tights, legs instantly wrapped in soothing heat and are long enough. Fleecy enough inside without bulk for layering or wearing alone. I'm returning a collection of just delivered variety of other brands' womens winter running gear and ordered two more sets. They don't look like base layer. I'm short-waisted 5'10" normally 130 but swelled to about 150 lbs with meds. Completely comfortable. The 'manly' front is discreet enough though I might stitch it in the center. There's still plenty of comfortable stretch around waist and all around. Free Country does it again!

Objective

Definetely runs on the small side. They are short, tight and difficult to pull up comfortably. I have owned different base layer brands and this one, although nice quality (soft, warm, medium-thick),has a serious sizing problem. I'm 6'1, 230 solid. Bougjt and XL -what I wear in most clothes. These are very tight. Can't really compare it to a size because the "rise" (the seam from your waist to the bottom of the crotch) is very short.

Too small

I bought the Large first because that is what I usually wear, and the size on the package matched my waist size. I'm 6' and 180 lbs. and the large wound up being way too small. Too short and tight around the waist. I went back and got the XL, and they were too loose around the waist and still too short, and loose around the ankles. If you wear a 32” inseam these will be way too short.
