My kindergartener has only used the bag for 14 school days and the water bottle elastic broke. She doesn’t carry much in her bag since she gets school lunch, just her folder, snack, and her water bottle. She cried when she realized it was broken. I expected better quality for the cost. So far the rest of the bag seems fine but who knows what the next 14 days will bring.

Great concept, slow delivery. Built-in ice pack is genius. Great colors and sturdy feel. Seal/bumper also seem durable. It took about three weeks between placing my order and receiving it. Accurate delivery timeline would be welcome - if it’s going to be 3 weeks, just say so.

So easy to use, keeps food cold until lunch time, and very easy to clean at the end of the day. I love that the individual compartments stay separate from each other, allowing me to mix crackers and yogurts without worrying that they will spill over.

I have many Bentgo Chill products, where I pack lunches the evening before, and pop the ice pack in in the morning. I have found with the mini, without the ice pack underneath to hold the food tray in place, the tray will suction to the lid and the lunchbox cannot be opened. The only solution we have found is to use a spoon to break the suction, which is not the easiest to do. If you pack your lunch in the morning, this shouldn't be an issue for you.

My daughter loves this backpack! It’s great quality. Love the front buckle. It sits comfortably on my daughter’s shoulders. The 2-in-1 feature is great because it’s less things my daughter has to carry and her Bentgo box fits perfectly inside. Definitely would recommend this bag.

I think the backpack itself is really good quality. Paired with a bentgo lunchbox where the whole lunch is contained in the box it’s great. The challenge is if there’s anything for lunch that’s not contained in a single lunchbox… since then kids have to take a lot to the lunch room.

Bentgo really thought of everything when it comes to the design of this backpack. There’s a thought about every component from the space for the water bottle and the bungee to keep it in place to the space below for an ice pack. I couldn’t recommend this backpack more. The lunch box keeps everything cool/warm and the compartments keep foods separate perfectly. The quality is through the roof. Money well spent. We got the sports themed combo and the colors are vibrant and I can tell this will wash beautifully.

I got one of these for each of my kids (ages 6 and 8) and it's so much easier to pack a lunch that they'll actually eat at school without having to put things in individual containers or ziplocks inside a lunchbox. Everything stays in place and looks yummy when they open it up at school. The optional ice pack is really handy for keeping fruits and veggies fresh on warmer days.

As someone who wants to bring small amounts of several things for lunch, this box is the perfect size! I have both this and a Bentgo Kids, and I rotate between them. It might be marketed for kids, but as an adult with a smaller appetite, I find this to be a better size than the larger ones.

Very cool! This was perfect for my 1st grader that didn't want to bulk up his back pack with a bento box+cold pack+lunch bag. The only issue we have is that when packing it up all, the clasp is bit hard to get to snap and you really have to squeeze everything together. It is very easy to open for little hands though!
