[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this downy fabric cleaner a few weeks ago. I really love the smell it reminds me of conditioner. The smell seems to really last on clothes. And it makes all of my clothes super soft it's awesome.

This product helps leave clothes smelling clean and fresh, but isn't too overpowering either. It is easy to add to the wash and works well. Would recommend!

He’s a big guy and sweats a lot, sometimes when he gets home, he forgets to empty his gym bag w/his is sweaty dirty gym clothes in it. Either way, they can be extremely rank smelling. The Downy Rinse and Refresh has been a lifesaver for me. His clothes come out of the washer with zero trace of odors, and feel pleasantly soft. I just add the Downy Rinse and Refresh in to the fabric softener slot on our washer, and his gym clothes come out odorless. I’m very happy with this product, the only thing that would make it better for me personally, is if it had a stronger scent. The Cool Cotton smells good, but is very very faint in my opinion. I personally like heavily scented products. Other that, needing a stronger scent, it worked great with eliminating orders from clothing and making them feel softer to the touch.

I've used it in hot and cold water which removed all traces of unwanted odors out of our clothes. It acts as a detergent booster and helped clean the fabrics removing built-up dirt, debris and odors. I only used 3 tbl for each load and the clothes came out softer and smelling wonderful! I'm definitely adding Downy rinse and refresh to my shopping list it has made a big difference in the outcome of our laundry which has been an issue even more so from my washer being in our damp musty basement I absolutely love this!!

First thing I noticed was the horrible packaging! After I used the lid as a measurement device, since the washer doesn't have a fabric softener compartment, I noticed that it leaked down the sides of the container. I wiped it off with my hand and within a few seconds my hand was stickier then a toddler with candy! The third thing is the white splotches that it left all over my black clothing!

I love my clothes to smell clean and fresh and this is a game changer for me. It’s a clean scent that goes in with the fabric softener. My daughter asked me what I did new with the laundry because it smells so good. You don’t need a lot. I plan to keep this as part of my laundry routine.

I guess I needed this. Who would've thought? I am recommending this to anyone that wants their clothes to smell top notch.

I tried this on a load of work clothes and I could still smell an odor to the clothes. I washed them a second time and used extra Downy and still didn’t remove all odor from the clothes. Lysol sanitizer seems to work better. I am disappointed with this product and the price I paid.
