[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a longtime lover of the Downy brand and was really excited to try the Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton fabric rinse. With a houseful of kids who play sports, we always have smelly and dirty clothes to wash. This rinse is a clear, slightly foaming liquid that you use in the fabric softner dispenser or by pouring right into the washing machine during the rinse cycle. I used mine in the fabric softener dispenser. It is made to clarify your fabrics by removing residue build up. The Cool Cotton scent is light, refreshing and smells so clean. It made my clothes smell wonderful and I felt like they had been cleansed extremely well when I got them out of the wash.

We have a very active lifestyle, and with dance, gymnastics and karate, we have a lot of clothing with odors. I simply place the rinse and refresh in my washers fabric softener compartment and I get fresh, deodorized clothes! I really enjoy the scent of this product, because it isn't heavy or overwhelming. I want my clothes to smell fresh and clean and not like perfume. I can't say enough great things about this rinse. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants their laundry to smell fresh and be free of residue from detergent. There is no dye or anything harsh in this product, so it's great for people who have sensitive skin, or for babies and kids too!

Some people might not like this, but if you are one that likes to have clean smelling clothes then get this product. It is similar to the Downy beads, but maybe not as strong. I love this product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying this product for the last two weeks and here are my thoughts. I love the scent it comes in. I love that you can add it like fabric softener. I love that it is gentle on the skin. Most importantly it gets rid of my teenagers funk smell in their ball clothes and covers. I do wish it came in a bigger size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how this works but it really does. My clothes come out smelling fresher with this than any fabric softener I have ever used. No softener or dryer sheets are needed in addition to this rinse. I could never get my towels smelling fresh no matter what I used. Fabric softener can't be used on towels or they don't absorb water properly. This CAN be used! It makes my towels smell amazingly clean and fresh. I don't think I can ever wash towels without it. I just add as much as I would of fabric softener directly to my fabric softener dispenser. It has a max fill line so I add to that. I honestly don't know exactly how much that is since I don't measure. I would say about a full capful. It's a very clean clothes type scent which is perfect. I am beyond pleased with this Downy rinse. It is definitely something I will keep using as long as it's available.

The sheets were soft, they smelled nice, but general detergent and dryer sheets do the same. I do not love that it is a liquid and it is just one more thing to add to your wash cycle. Overall, meh - not bad but not sure I would use it again.

I also like the fact that you can see whats in the bottle to easily identify that it's dye free as my husband's skin is also easily irritated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this downy a couple weeks ago and I am truly impressed. It's made from natural ingredients and the liquid looks clearish. It smells so very good . It leaves my clothes smelling great and wrinkle free.it does however feel a little sticky when it over spills on the bottle but that's no biggie.

I used this on my husband's work clothes and he came home asking me what I used on his clothes because his co workers was asking him what kind of cologne he had on? They were teasing him that smelled like sunshine and roses. Lolol He works at a lumber plant where it's very hot. His clothes be soaked with sweat when he gets home. This Downy fabric rinse removed that sweat odor! Now the co workers wants to know what I use on his work clothes.
