[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally put anything in my laundry other than detergent, however, my daughter-in-law kept bragging about the Downy Rinse & Refresh so I tried it. It's not a softener, but it rather removes build-up and deep scents in the clothes. It's crazy, because in the bottle it smells like a lovely scent, but when the clothes are washed with it added, it just makes them smell truly "clean". Like smells that have been hidden in my towels for years are gone and they smell fresh. Everything is softer, like it somehow got out years of build-up. It's a regular part of our laundry routine now and will remain that way!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has overactive sweat glands and after a day working in the heat with no ac, his clothes smell anything but good. Fabric softener wasn’t cutting it but this rinse and refresh has helped a lot getting the stinky sweat clothes out of his uniforms and hats. I add it to the fabric softener compartment because I never remember to add it during the rinse cycle.

I do not use fabric softener so I was super curious if this type of product truly does make a difference. I am impressed, as there was a noticeable difference in my clothes, and I am not talking about the smell of them. Easy to use with a subtle scent (that is one of the reasons why I choose not to use fabric softener - sometimes the scent on laundered clothing is overwhelming and clashes with whatever perfume or cologne someone is wearing). I am very surprised and happy with the outcome of using this product. Highly recommend.

My clothes came out smelling fresh and clean. Definitely using this in all my future loads of laundry... Can't wait to try all the other scents.

The odor would not always come out and still had a slight smell that lingered. I decided to use the Downy Rinse and it help with the odor the very first wash. My son immediately noticed the difference after picking it up to put them on. He loves the cool cotton smell. I even use it on my cleaning rags and I am very pleased and excited that they are fresh smelling. I feel that is a plus when cleaning my houses. This is a great product in my opinion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love it. This liquid works great on different textiles (linen, cotton, flax, ramie) but I like it best of all on wool. Especially things like sweaters which you have to dry lying flat. This "rinse and refresh" leaves them fluffier (and subsequently warmer), with a very nice faint scent. The fragrance is minimal but pleasant and not sweet at all (rather fresh and crisp). Easy to use, just add some (not a lot, just a couple of table spoons) to the fabric softener dispenser in your washing machine. If handwashing, just splash a bit into the final rinse. All items end up looking newer, smelling fresher and feeling great. Also, keep in mind that liquid is much, much thinner than detergent, so use steady hand when adding, otherwise might add too much (it will not be a problem, but why waste it, right?). Wonderful product I already told everyone I know about. Highly recommend.

I also like the smell better than other scented products we have used. Don't know if it is helping clean the clothes any better but I like it and will be getting more.

That being said, it is a great product. Smells amazing and adds a little extra cleanings to your garments. Definitely give it a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I really wish it had a stronger scent. With that being said, I have used this on my husbands chef clothing and it really does help take the odors away...and keep them away. The scent is very nice, but very light.
