[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried softener crystals until Downy Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield and I am hooked! The texture of the product is not so much a crystal as it is a soft pellet or bead. They completely dissolved in the machine and left no residue. My preferred brand of liquid softener is Downy but the fragrance is much more subtle. I was amazed by the fresh smell that greeted me when I opened the washing machine door to transfer the laundry load! The scent was still there when I pulled the laundry from the dryer and as I folded and put away the clothes. I recommend this new Downy product, especially for soiled whites.

I love the Downy beads! I've used the Downy Unstopables in the wash before, but not the Fresh Protect. I really like the April Fresh scent, and the smell is fairly strong just opening the package. I actually used less than the recommended amount, because I feel it's quite strong. One week later, and my sheets still smell fresh! Of course the fresh smell fades over time, but the lovely scent stays much longer than after washing with detergent alone. Clothes still smell incredibly fresh in my closet too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently gave the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads the ultimate test - my son's workout clothes. The results were great. The clothes smelled terrific once cleaned. And my son smelled terrific when he wore them. The Beads were very simple to use - I added them to the washing machine at the same time I added detergent. The beads act as a deodorant for clothes when you wear them. I recommend the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads for any sort of laundry. I find it particularly helpful for an additional type of odor protection for active teenagers.

I absolutely love the downy fresh protect beads in my laundry. I tossed about 2 tbsp in per load of laundry and it left them smelling fresh with no residue. The smell is amazing and long lasting!! I tested my Downy Fresh Protect beads for free, but all of my opinions are my own.

I've already recommended this great smelling product. I even have her one of the packs to try for herself after using my first pack lol. I even went out and looked for it for purchase but unfortunately it wasn't in my budget as it was priced a bit higher then expected so I divided the last pack into two washes and honestly it smelled just as amazing! I received this product from influenster for free for my honest review and they not receiving the item for free in no way shaped my opinion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Downy in my husband's work clothes and immediately felt cheated... not in a bad way though. I wished that had used the sample in my own clothes. I didn't immediately notice the scent when placing them in the washer but as soon as I pulled them out to put them in the dryer the scent was very pleasant. After the clothes dried they still smelled great. I am looking forward to see how the odor neutralizer works in these to see if they will work all day. They definitely took away the faint scent of work clothes that I have not been able to go away with just using detergent. The use of little beads seemed a little odd to me and I was unsure of how they would work, but I can say that after using them that I was pleased with the outcome.

This product smells so good. I have used it on my towels twice now and our towels still smell fresh! I'm scared to try it on my clothes because I have sensitive skin and don't want a reaction. I don't think you even have to use that many to notice a difference. I received this product for free, but all opinions are my own. I will definitely be buying this product.

So easy to use. I normally just toss these right into the downy ball and then throw it into the washer at the beginning of the wash cycle. The first time using the scent was a little too strong, so the next time I use about 1/3 less than the recommended. It worked out much better. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes and to voice my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get my Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist but I must admit I did not expect to like them as much as I love my Gain Beads. However, I was very wrong! I really liked the scent of these beads! The scent filled my entire house and we could smell them outside on the deck! I was really impressed! My clothes came out of the washer smelling great. I already bought my own bottle. Once dry, I could not smell them as strong but maybe I needed to use a little more, since I only put the minimum in a full load. Definetly like though!
